This is hands down one of the best coffee shops in Denton. Truly Denton’s hidden gem. From homemade syrups, exquisite croissants (oh let’s not forget their gluten free baked goods) to a perfectly balanced espresso with the perfect golden shine. If you’re not a regular customer then you’re doing life wrong.

Bright, airy, clean and kind. Visit the newest vibes in town! Try their Cold Brew with Root Beer syrup, or the Charlie Sheen with Mexican Coke! 😂 The location had this gem hidden away from the usual crowds, so come find out what you have been missing before everyone else does!

Out of the many coffee shops in Denton, Avoca is one of them. The coffee itself is good. I would say it is on the expensive side compared to other places, maybe $1 more than you would normally expect for a product of similar quality. The vibes are pretty cool. There are plants and natural wood tones. That staff is nice. It could be cleaned a little better as there are always crumbs on the floors and tables. Otherwise, good coffee shop.

Lots of seating, not loud, plenty of parking, a drive thru, and really good coffee. There is outdoor seating, too. Perfect for a large group or a study session.

I’ve been here a few times but won’t be back. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with soy milk and light ice. Firstly, the drink cost me more than $7 not including tip and their cup sizes are one size…small/medium. Secondly, I went to pick up the drink and noticed it wasn’t full, it was about an inch below the top of the cup. I chuckled and said “where’s the rest of it?”, the barista said “well since you wanted light ice it’s not as full.” If I wanted a cup of ice with some coffee in it I would go to McDonalds. Unfortunately their decision has now cost them a customer. Lastly, they must keep the indoor temperature at 80° so it’s always uncomfortably warm in there. There are plenty of locally owned coffee shops in the area, give them your business.

Pretty delicious coffee. Seating was limited for small groups as single people occupied booths.
Was very nice on the inside, would come back again!

I was driving thru Denton and stopped here for coffee. I ordered a cinnamon roll ($4) and 2 lattes. Don’t waste your time or money. Lattes taste burnt and the cinnamon roll was depressing. Was told they only have 12 oz coffee cups.

Update (feb 2023) - continue to enjoy it here! Great coffee offerings and the Food options are awesome. Really good GF options from a local DFW bakery and the stuffed bagel bites were really good too.

(Original review) Super beautiful open space. Love the little outdoor patio area too. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Had some fun/different drink options I def want to go back and try and an amazing pastry case bringing in some great stuff from local DFW bakeries

I was looking for a space to work for a few hours and this was perfect. Lots of tables, outlets, and separate places to set up. Coffee was good and it was relatively quiet.

First time at this shop. I was so thrilled to find out they have multiple plant-based options, and even have breakfast items that are plant-based!! On top of that, the barista (young woman, sorry I don't recall her name) was very pleasant and helpful as she helped me figure out what to try. Lovely open architecture and good vibe all around. Loved it!
