Love this place , the coffee is excellent , and it's the perfect place to meet a friend. The latte art is fantastic to see everytime I go and order one.

As a coffee lover I can't think of better way to spend a chilly Saturday morning other than sipping fine coffee sitting outside on a picnic bench. This is great place to be, they have coffee and coffee beans. We always end up buying a bag or two of their fresh roasted coffee beans. This time my husband went in three times to pick coffee beans because his friends wanted some to try.
A different vendor offers breakfast sandwiches under the same roof which in my opinion a very clever concept.
They get very busy so try to go early if you can.

So, I would be in really big trouble if I lived close to this place :-)! Where else can you find some great amazing coffee and some fabulous homemade food. The biscuits and gravy blew me away today. All the people are so cool and great. I sat at the coffee bar with my son and we had some wonderful discussions with the baristas. Can't wait to go back!

Locally roasts their own beans. If youā€™re in Dallas looking for real coffee, this is a shop you have to visit. Nice and knowledgeable and great coffee!

This is inside Goodfriend Package, but it has its own counter and payment stand. I do not think they are the ā€œsameā€.

Letā€™s start with what I look for in a coffee spot before I order.

1. One size offering for espresso drinks (Italians donā€™t order by ounces šŸ˜‰)
2. Latte art. Why? Because it shows the skill of the barista.

This place passed on both accounts. Our cappuccinos were perfectly foamed, thick all the way down, and individual to each of us. The flavor was great, and the texture perfection.

I also loved sitting at the bar watching the baristas work. Itā€™s a laid back atmosphere in this awesome spot in east dallas.

Iā€™ve had some bags that have been hit-or-miss, but overall they roast some excellent coffee and Iā€™m always down to support local roasters. Keep in mind that when you order from them, you get it very fresh; which is great, but it might fool you into thinking that they ā€œburnā€ or over-roast their beans. Thatā€™s not the case. You need to give your bag about a week after the roasted on date to degas and release its CO2 and then it will taste the best. Iā€™m enjoying a bag from Peru that I opened after two weeks and it tastes like rocky road ice cream, and thatā€™s without any added cream or sugar. Great stuff.

Strange place. After spending more than $15, they wouldn't exchange a sour, leathery nitro cold brew (too old, too much funky natural dry??) for an espresso. Maybe they did me a favor.

Good coffee for quick bite.
In second time (after 3 months) coffee was much better.
P.S. 6 months better again;)

Best coffee. Worth the 20 plus drive. Little bit of a wait
