Ascension Coffee - White Rock

The location is beautiful so it is a great spot to have a coffee and breakfast. Their outside seating has a lot of shade as well! The staff was very helpful and kind. They have unique twists on the classic coffees while also delivering on the classics. The brunch was good but not great for the price of $13-15.

Food was so tasty! There was a bit of a wait but that’s to be expected on a beautiful Saturday afternoon! Great service too.

This is a great location but parking is a bit of a challenge. Beautiful building! Great food and coffee. Waiters are very nice and accommodating. Just remember this place is new and very busy! Pack your patience when you go and you’ll love it.

The best coffee shop/café in the area. The cardamom latte with lavender and honey was sublime and the paleo bowl was exceptionally flavorful … delicious 😋

The new Ascension is beautiful! They have a big patio which makes it nice for a weekend brunch spot. Food was great, service is great, and I always love the coffee. I definitely recommend!

I’ve been here three times. It’s been a hit or miss of having okay service. Sometimes you feel like a burden of being here & other times it is friendly service. Today was not good:/
Also. This place is not bilingual friendly. I’ve seen many tourist mostly from South America coming here having trouble to order.

So happy Ascension is finally in East Dallas! This location is absolutely beautiful and the staff is even better. Everyone is so friendly. I went during their opening weekend and even with how busy they were, the staff was extremely accommodating and attentive. If you’re planning on paying a visit this weekend/opening week, just know you will have to wait. Be patient and mindful of how hard the staff is working! Can’t wait to go back many many more times.

I love other Ascension locations but this one is not great. Food and coffee are awesome as usual but I won't go here again.

Parking is extremely limited and space inside is even more limited. For a place so small there isn't much reason to have poor service but there is. They are still getting operations in place cause it's new but it's much too small

This is a horrible place to get a quick coffee to go. I placed an online to go order (for just a coffee). The person that came with my could not find parking so they had to drive around while I waited. My online order took 45 minutes to fulfill and on top of that they lost my order. I had to ask three times about my order only to find out they lost my ticket. 45 minutes later I finally got my TO GO coffee. They told me they were behind on orders but kept fulfilling the orders of the clients dining in. People that ordered to go were standing there waiting for over half an hour. The priority was reversed at this restaurant. The coffee is good but there is no way this can be considered a coffee shop. Clients ordering their coffee out are put on the back burner. I’ll just get my coffee at another shop within a reasonable period of time.

This location is terrible, the worst compared to the other locations.

1) a big truck parked in compact parking occupying so much space that no other cars can fit in adjacently

2) reservations or waitlist is a nightmare. We can never get on the waitlist on Yelp because it’s “not open”. However when we get to the locations it’s a 45min wait. Had I known I would have put myself on the waitlist and simply waited

3) when we get to the location and are waiting to be helped, the individual in a black paper boy asked 3 people around us if they were okay but did not acknowledge us and whether we have been helped or needed to reserve

The design district location has valet parking and a much better seating system with realistic wait times.
