Hester's Cafe Lamar Park

This place is always great. A very, very relaxed atmosphere where you can spend your morning or early afternoon is absolutely no rush.

The staff is always extremely accommodating and always willing to help you should you have an issue.

They have rotating, unique flavors of coffee to keep things interesting.

There are some good vegan options, including a burger, salads, a sandwich, oatmeal and Avocado toast, but I would love to see vegan pancakes and bakery items.

I always come here when the weather is nice.

Great food, but what keeps me coming back here is one specific dish: Cloud Cakes, their fluffy buttermilk ricotta pancakes. These are literally the best pancakes I've ever eaten.

Food is good but prices seem to go up and portion sizes are smaller. Managers don't seem friendly and tables take a long time to be cleaned off. You would think with how busy it is they would have someone just doing that. Also if they could have some regular drinks instead of just specialty drinks, that would be good.

Usually appreciate the food and atmosphere at Hester’s. This morning I got the egg and bacon with a scoop of potatoes; the fruit cup had mold in it. Disappointed that I was offered another fruit cup since that batch for the day had mold on my strawberry.

Wonderful place to have breakfast at! We ordered an omelet with salmon and “garden of eaten” and both omelets were great. The portion size is also big! Kids loved their pancakes. Waffles with pecans were great too.

This place has a bad customer service. If there is a choice for a ZERO star, I would give this place a ZERO rating. I took my wife here for a lunch date and they made us wait for almost an hour for our food that never came. At 45 minutes of waiting, I asked the waiter to check on our order because we’ve been waiting for a while and almost all of the tables that came in after us were already served and some of them already left. I gave her a few minutes to come back to our table to give us an update but she never did and just went on serving food to the other tables. After more than 10 minutes, I asked another server for our food status and he came back saying that it was at the end of the list. I told him that we have been waiting for almost an hour and almost everyone that were seated after us were already served, done, and left. He offered for me to talk to the manager which I gladly said yes. I told the manager the situation and all he can say was I’m sorry. Out of frustration, I told him to just give me my refund. I don’t want to play the minority race card but that’s what I felt during this entire ordeal. I do not recommend this place to anyone!!!

Delicious Gratitude bowl! Chocolate pie was amazing!Wish there were paper menus available to take our time making a decision instead of holding up the line studying the wall menu. 🙄

Food was bland, potatoes hard and un-cook, chai tea was just hot milk.
The atmosphere is great, but if youre just sharing and expresso and biscotti

Great breakfast spot. The coffee, meal and service were wonderful.
