High's Cafe & Store

Everything about this place was great! The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable-we sat outside under the trees. The food was tasty and satisfying. The green chili chicken soup was very good and fresh. The grilled spiraled double dog with chow chow and a cold draft beer will definitely have me coming back again. Loved it!

The place was busy all day. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the counter and pick up any drinks at the next counter over. Then when your pager buzzes, you go up to the counter located to the left when you walk in to pick up your food. Service was fairly fast, and the food was good and reasonably priced. They have different hot plate specials every day.

Had a great lunch here today with friends. I had the grilled cheese and minestrone soup. We also splurged on some of the fabulous baked desserts.

Friendliness and service, not to mention our meal was too-notch! We enjoyed the havarti grilled cheese and chicken salad sandwiches, and then couldn’t say no to the brownie! Can wait to go back! Great patio!

A real hidden gem in Comfort, Texas ! Very unique menu with awesome sandwiches and fabulous desserts!
The outdoor area is nice under gigantic trees! We were able to bring our little beagle, Lola, to sit in the garden.... she loved it too!

An unexpected find
Food is tasty, and you have to try their chili dogs! They have a casual atmosphere. There is indoor seating and a patio.
I purchased their cookbook and what a nice surprise. I have tried a couple of their recipes. They were a hit!

The food was delicious. Small portion for a big Texas eater like myself, but that allowed for me to taste two sandwiches that day. I would definitely recommend stopping in and having a meal after walking around the shops near by.

This place was super cute. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is awesome.
I didn't like the gentleman at the cash register who barely made eye contact, spoke as little as possible, and made me feel like he didn't want to be there.
Other than that, my visit was great and would recommend this place to anyone else.

This place has unique eats & treats that will have you coming back for more. I highly recommend the Blue Moon salad... SOOO GOOD 😋 let's not forget the generous pours. If ever in the area, you must hit up this place 💕🙌

Great cafe tucked away in a little quiet town. Outdoor seating is amazing on a warm beautiful Hill Country day! More vegan friendly options would be stellar! but the veggie sandwich and the greek flax wrap are both excellent options, just omit the cheese on both to make them vegan.
