Just a college town coffee shop, but what they do they do well. Espresso is great. Not much to eat, but holy moly... the space! The problem with most college cafes is no seating, or table space. Lupa's is compensating for all the rest. So many tables!

This place makes EXCELLENT coffee. Prices are cheaper than Starbucks, and in my opinion you're getting much better coffee.
The employees are friendly and the bathrooms are very clean. It's very quiet during the day, but when it starts to get dark out it can get pretty crowded.

This is one of the better places to get a proper espresso beverage made, and they have good smoothies made with real ingredients. It is usually crowded, though, as there are a lot of table campers, and there isn't as much turnover as other coffee shops in the area. It can be hard to find a place to sit and work. Outlets are scarce, so it can get a bit treacherous around finals, as there will be a lot of extension cords. In the afternoons, the sun comes in the large windows, and makes using a laptop very difficult. They close their register at midnight, even if they're open afterwards, so be sure to order your drinks before then if you're working late!
This location is rather student-centric, so it is occasionally closed or open odd hours around school holidays.

I originally posted a 5-star review when this place was Lupa's. Since it has turned Gogh Gogh, the service is really hit or miss. Sometimes you get a really good coffee, sometimes it's garbage. Sometimes they won't even make you one. With so many other coffee options in town, I would go somewhere else.

I happened to stop by this place at College Station on my way from Houston to Fort Worth. Needed some good Tea for the road. This place has a great vibe and youthful energy and the tea was great. The Baristas are nice.
The only sad thing is that there is a tiny solitary fish in a small bowl kept near the doorway that hardly anyone notices. It is certainly a very sad fish and does not belong there.
I would give this place 5* had it not been for that poor fish being isolated there š

Best quality/tasting cappuccino in town, and what a fun atmosphere-- they did a great job transforming a strip mall space. However, the staff is just not friendly. It may be that they are all introverts and it's just that-- however there are never smiles when you arrive, when they ask if your drink is for here or to go it seems like they want you to say to go, and there's no pleasantry. I didn't think that would mean very much to me, but apparently it does. Every time I think about coming I hesitate because of my interactions with the staff and often decide to go anyways because the drinks (and blueberry muffins-- oh my goodness, incredible) are so good. I always hope that maybe I've just got folks on bad days, but after 5-6 visits with different staff I wonder if they're just not encouraged to be pleasant...or again, maybe they are all introverts who don't enjoy engaging others. Who knows, but if that could improve I would vote this the best shop in town.
Also-- they use Promised Land milk, grassfed, yum.
Lastly, seems like they may use old school CDs for the music, it's often that the music is just off and it's library type silent in there. It's definitely not a place to come to have a conversation with someone, super awkward for yall, and a bit annoying for everyone else who have gotten used to the quiet. Some continuous music would be a good add.

If you really enjoy the finer parts of coffee this is the place for you. The baristas are trained to really exenuate the different parts of different brews, and if you aren't into that, the food and pastries have been taking a step up. I personally love their cookies and breakfast sandwiches!

Caprese croissant was too good! The cashier was helpful and prompt. Place was quite, too quite. Study instrumental music in the background and everyone around us had headphones and were working on a computer but again, that caprese croissant, boy that was good!

Lupa's is a great place to study or meet peopl (my favorite in BCS). There is a lot of setting, and the tables are laid out well. The batch brew caters to the tastes of coffee connoisseurs, and might be too acidic for casual coffee drinkers. Baristas are friendly and knowledgeable.

Fantastic coffee! Great place to study too... If you can get a seat. I wish this place were bigger so I could sit and enjoy it more often, but usually there are no seats available.
