Absolutely love this new location! I was greeted by really friendly and knowledgeable employees who seem like they genuinely enjoy their job! The coffee was superb and I also had some mouth watering pumpkin bread! I love that this spot has such a relaxing vibe!

The espresso drink was prepared perfectly. However, I was in town for two days. On the first day I was able to have a "half caff" latte- 50% of the grounds used were to be decaf. On the second day, with a different barista, I couldn't, reason being "the flavors of the different espresso wouldn't be right together." This was after I explained that I had this yesterday and it was delicious. So basically, my preference didn't matter, it was her decision what I should have. 5 stars for great coffee, 1 star for the hot cup of hubris.

Great atmosphere, great place to study! The coffee is good, and the staff are friendly and informative. I would recommend a stop by if you are in the area!

How can I even begin to sum up my experience with Lupas. Not only are the drinks and snacks (especially their teas and scones) mighty tasty, the staff is also one of the friendliest groups of people I've met in my almost 6 years in CS. The baristas always seem to find ways to start good conversations and make friends with me. They also have a great memory for my interests and my drink preferences. Also not to go unmentioned is the ample room and abundance of comfortable seats, couches and power outlets in comparison to other coffee shops in the area. Only thing I can think of to improve here is adding in sandwiches and the like for more food options but of course it has no effect on this review or the many fun times I've spent here. Big thanks to Lupas for making my studying more pleasant and big shout out to Meagan, Sarah, and Lino, just to name a few!

First time here. New to the BCS area. Have been to all the other shops in the area. This is hands down the most expensive among them! Drink sizes are comparable to other local shops in town, but the price is quite a bit more. They use double shots in all coffees, which is great! Although, I purchase triple shot coffee near daily and never pay $8+ for it. The atmosphere is ok, clean and the service was good, barista polite and courteous despite my mention of the cost being absurd. Just think the price is absurd for coffee that—as far as I know— isn’t premium.... I’d say if you are looking for delicious coffee and the price isn’t super expensive, go to Gogh Gogh or Tipsy Bean.

Great drinks. Great atmosphere. Usually pretty crowded, but in a good way. This coffeeshop seems more study oriented than social oriented so I go all the time when I need to get stuff done.
My only complaint would be that there don't seem to be enough chairs for all the tables.

There are many coffeehouses in College Station - and this is one of them. Lupa's has a culture of focused study and cordial service. I've never been a fan of their beans, but I can understand the draw. Their excellent selection in other drinks (smoothies, for example) makes up for it entirely. Grab a small bite, a few friends, a 200mg caffeine drink, and a table, and come ground out that 6-hour study sesh.

The atmosphere is nice but the coffee? Just ok & overpriced. Probably the worst americano I’ve ever had. Not much flavor & wasn’t even hot when it was served to me- total turn off. I was never impressed the first time I came in, decided to give it a second chance & probably will be my last! Great place to hang out & study otherwise...

Cold brew coffee was terrible. Sausage, egg and cheese croissant was good. I'd rather go to Wendy's for their cold brew and get a fast food breakfast sandwich. If you are looking for cold brew, go somewhere else.

One of my favorite places to hang out on weekends when I am in town. It has decent coffee and snacks but what I love is the easygoing appeal of this place that makes it so refreshing. They also have small board games, chalk and blackboards to work on or draw or just de-stress. The seating space just keeps going on and can accommodate a lot of people.
4 of us visited the first time and played Taboo for over 3 hours. It is definitely one of the more popular cafes in College Station because the next time I visited during the school term and I could barely find a place to sit by myself. It seems like a go to place for students to work on homeworks and group projects.
