Brownsville Coffee Shop No. 2

the guy with the neck tattoo was cool, very courteous and thoughtful, his female partner did not do so well, the food was fine, and I went with a large party for breakfast, so maybe that's why she gave us poor service

So this place is open 24/7. In Brownsville that's a big deal because everything pretty much closes at 10pm. With that said, that's pretty much their biggest selling point. Their food is basic and service mediocre. If you want something other than whataburger at 4am in the morning, then I'd come here, but otherwise, this city is too full of badass Mexican food restaurants to settle for this place.

Had to stop here before heading back to Austin. Carne guisada is the best. Today they only have 1 cook wait time is 30-35 min; totally worth it!

Weak coffee. Huevos Rancheros were couple of eggs with pace picante sauce. Can't recommend.

This cafe has the best food in Brownsville.
Staff and owner are professional and extremely attentative to providing the excellent service you would expect in a fine dining establishment.

Their menu is offensive by stating below the drinks that there's no free refill that it's not a fast food restuarant. All they have to say is no free refills. There're plenty of local and National chain restaurants that give free refills.

Absolutely a staple for Brownsville, I swear these places are open 24/7, the Menudo? Fantastic. Lemonada? ZESTY. Tacos? Taco-rrific. Even on days that aren't tuesday. Also, they of course have Coffee. If thats your thing. An it is theirs. I highly recommend the carne guisada.

The only reason I'm giving a one star rating it's because I went to the restroom to wash my hands to eat and there was no soap to wash hands or hand sanitizer. You might say oh what a drama but that's when I started thinking how do the cook, waiters or anyone that work there are washing their hands!!!! Gross!!!!
