Do yourself a favor and order the beef tips if its on the menu the day you visit.

Very popular local spot, but out of 4 meals, 2 were good and 2 were not. My chicken fried steak was especially bad. Mashed potatoes tasted like mix, not scratch. Very disappointed.

Looking for a local cafe in Brenham, Tx and found Santa Fa & SP Cafe. The menus is written on 2 large chalk boards. Had listed a number of dishes that sounded goog. My wife had turkey and dressing, sweet potatoes and buttered corn, I had roast, sweet potatoes, buttered corn and broccoli and cheese, all were great!!! Served homemade rolls before lunch and lunch came with desert - was offered 4 or 5 different cake choices(you get 1), these were great also! We left stuffed and very satisfied. They are located towards the old center of town, the parking lot lot was packed when we got there and the inside was also. Appearently the locals really like the place also! Will be going back!

This place offers a daily lunch special which comes out in minutes. We ordered off the menu and was told they didn't have fried chicken because they used all their chicken for the baked chicken lunch special. I therefore ordered the fried pork chop from the menu because I wasn't interested in eating the overcooked vegetables I had seen other people eating. It came with french fries. I asked for them to be extra crispy and my husband ordered a patty melt with fries. We waited well over 20 minutes while an entire restaurant was served and when we had to hunt someone down to get our food we were told it was our fault because we ordered off the menu. To top this off the food was only ok and my french fries were not only limp they were raw. So bottom line get the lunch special and don't expect much.

Good plate lunches w/ tea & desert. Analyst quite efficient & very pleasant!
Friday's Turkey & Dressing is always a treat & a great way to finish the week!

Excellent Breakfast. Pan sausage was delicious. If you are looking for one of those local secrets, this is it. People are super nice, great service. We will be going back.

Great food, great service, reasonable prices. They have a lunch menu. 1 meat, 3 veggies, tea or coffee, desert. Changes daily. Breakfast and lunch only. Closes at 2 P.M. Full menu too.. Don't miss this place.

This is one of best places to get a home cooked meal, I had their lunch special Roast beef you have a total of three lunch specials to choose from their food is delicious

I think this place doesn't know the meaning of running a business, 3rd bad experience " I checked their website to be sure they would be open when planed my trip for yesterday, drove out of my way only to get there and they were closed for vacation, why didn't they put that on their website "
