Best home cooking I've had since my Grandma past away! Their lunch special comes out so fast I can be in and out in 15 minutes. The staff is super friendly to regulars but stand offish to new customers. Please be aware if you order from the menu it does take longer.

It is a friendly loving environment with people who make this place run smoothly. My food (veggie omelette and a Denver omelette with a side of biscuits and gravy) the sausage in the gravy has amazing flavor! The biscuits are fluffy on the inside and lightly crunchy on the out. Coffee is decent and the prices are absolutely amazing 😍

During our visit to Brenham, we decided to check out a local diner for lunch. We decided on this place based on reviews and the train theme. The food was really good and freshly made, and the staff was very friendly. The only note is that it's a cash only restaurant, so come with cash instead of plastic!

The food was great, service was very friendly. We had to wait a long time for the food but they seemed to be unusually swamped with takeout orders. It was a perfect local diner.

Really enjoy the breakfast here, nice place, clean, friendly staff. A bit pricey ($14 w/tip) but the portions are good and the food is prepared fresh. **IMPORTANT** CASH ONLY!

Good daily lunch specials, hard working wait staff and possibly the best burger in Brenham. Fridays is Turkey and dressing day. No credit accepted. Fries and onion rings are very good too. They handled Covid restrictions very well with improvised drive thru. Now also serving in dining room.

Popular, locally owned Cafe with a daily rotation of homemade, hot lunch specials and side dishes. Thursday is smothered liver and onions, my husband's favorite. Lots of breakfast and lunch items on regular menu. They don't serve supper. Take out is available. Cash only. Senior discount.

Had breakfast at Santa Fe. The Santa Fe Express. Delicious! Eggs cook just the way I wanted and two sausage patties and one pancake. I could not finish the meal. A big breakfast. Coffee good too.

Santa Fe has been one of my long time favorites in Brenham, I am really picky about where I go out to eat having been a restaurant manager for some time, however I recommend this place over any place in Brenham, TX. The taste of a home cooked lunch is mmm so goood, but the burgers are my new addiction. The chicken fried steak and salad are to die for. The thing that makes this place so awesome is the friendly, fast service. They do not take credit card so bring cash. One time someone forgot to put gravy in my to go order and the person who forgot was so nice she called my job and apologized and the next time I went in my lunch was free for ME!! Nothing tops off a good restaurant like GREAT SERVICE. Thanks Santa Fe, Keep up the great business!!! -Julia
