Wow!!! This is a local legend. Not any other places to eat in this neck of the woods. You would think service and food would be subpar. It’s not. Rebecca treated us like we were kings. They have a big selection of country food. This place is worth traveling to. Don’t pass it by if your in this neck of the woods.

The food was excellent. It was a true home-cooked breakfast. The pancake my mom ordered was as big a dinner plate. The waffle was delicious. I love the small-town feel of the dining room. The owner was on site working, which is great, because it shows dedication.
I will be back whenever I am in the area.

Went here twice for breakfast. Great both times. Staff is friendly and attentive. Portions are large and filling. If you are in the Lake of the Pines area and are hungry, give Lakehouse a try. If I didn't live 2 1/2 hours away, I would go here a lot

Got cheeseburgers. Fries could have been cooked a tab bit longer. Wifes burger they forgot the bacon. Was 25 bucks for 2 burgers. Little pricey if you ask me. Staff was super nice and friendly.

We visited the Cafe for the first time this weekend and will definitely be back!! We ate breakfast and lunch, take out and dine in and enjoyed our experience every time! The food was hott and full of flavor everytime and the prices are great as well! We can't wait to visit again and may even make the drive just to eat 😊

Ordered a cheeseburger with jalapeños and bacon got home to realize there was only cheese and lettuce on it. Wifes chicken fried steak was soggy along with the fried okra we both got. But, it did have decent flavor.

I've eaten there for years before it becomes the Lake House. Good people, good food!
