The Lakehouse Cafe

First I want to say the food was hot and big portions. The waitress was very unfriendly and unsocialable and I believe she made a back hand remarks about myself being over weight. I have chronic congestive heart failure, I can not walk far without being out of breath. I do it anyway. After sitting down I tried to engage her several times in conversation. I was with my Husband and 2 grandsons, which noticed her bad attitude at the beginning. I know all the locals probably think she is awesome, I just wish we could have witnessed that on our vacation.

My niece had a birthday, so since it was a rainy day, we decided to stop in at the Lakehouse Cafe. We were seated quickly and the waitress constantly checking on us. I had the chicken fried steak and it was tender and great. If you're in the Lake of the Pines area, stop in.

We enjoyed our catfish dinner so much on Friday night that we came back for breakfast on Sunday. The food was so tasty and the portions were huge! Rene and her team were very friendly and welcoming, answering some of our questions about the area. They have big plans to keep updating the menu as well so we will be coming back for sure! Be sure to check them out!!

Amazing staff and DELICIOUS food! We didn't taste a single bad bite of food, and we loved laughing and joking with the staff while waiting on our food! We chose chicken fried steak and cheeseburgers, and both were out of this world delicious! 10/10 will come eat here again!

We were traveling through from Wisconsin and were looking for a good home cooked meal, and found The Lakehouse Cafe. The service and food are top-notch. Had one of the most amazing omelets and bottomless cups of coffee. Even gave us 2 straps of bacon for our little fur babies in the truck.
We will be back again one day.

This is a must stop if you are around Bullfrog marina or Johnson creek!!!! They have a great atmosphere
and tasty food! Great breakfast and wonderful dinner! Chickefried steaks are hand battered and HUGE! Thank Y'all so much for making us feel welcome.

it wasn't bad....I had lunch...I know the breakfast is probably better.....I'll try again next time. I got decent service until I tipped. Left her $15 and was basically ignored afterwards. My server called me "Mama" the whole time like was some teen mom. It was really irritating 😒 but I was nice and food was decent.

Charlene was amazing! The food was great! Service was excellent! We came in right at 8 and they close at 9, people came in after us and we were all greeted and welcomed with open arms and a smile. 10/10 will be back again!
