Summer Moon Coffee (South 1st)

Oh. My. God. The other reviewers and Austin-Ians are NOT lying when they say this is the most incredible coffee ever. The moon milk they use is magical indeed

I sorely regret getting the special fall pumpkin spice latte instead of the cold brew with the cream foam. That was purely divine and so smooth.
They also have bakery items and some gifts, etc. The breakfast tacos are only available until 11 so we just missed them!

You HAVE to go here!

This is the second Summer Moon Coffee Shop that I have been to, and while that isn’t a large sample set by any means, I’d say this coffee is consistently fantastic. The moon milk that they use to sweeten their lattes is out of this world. I would highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone.

As far as this specific location is concerned, parking is tough at times (it is Austin after all), but I was lucky to be able to snag a spot for my stay. I could see it being a bit of an issue during the busier times. The ambiance inside (or outside for their outdoor seating) is great, whether your intention is a social gathering or to get some work done.

Very popular spot tucked in a small shopping center. There isn’t very much parking in the lot, but there is some on the adjacent street. Nice little patio and seating inside. They sell coffee beans, merch and snacks. Coffee was good, but expensive as you add on extras. Staff wasn’t particularly friendly .. but they were slammed so maybe we caught them at a stressful time.

we were told to visit Summer Moon for some of the best coffee in all of the country. i'm not much of a coffee person, but my wife lives and dies by it and she says it was so good. the shop had a hole in the wall, diamond in the rough kind of feel to it. The interior didn't match the exterior. The interior was so nice and clean. the worker was so nice and helpful. what a great place.

Great coffee! And this location actually sells little tacos to that are beyond amazing. Quick, friendly, and I even got a super cute tote bag and cup from them!

I recently visited Summer Moon Coffee shop and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The shop has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with plenty of seating options both inside and outside. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that everyone's orders were taken promptly and accurately.

As for the coffee itself, it was some of the best I've ever had. I ordered a latte with their signature Moon Milk, which is a unique blend of cream, sugar, and secret ingredients that gives the coffee a rich, smooth flavor. I was blown away by how delicious it was – the Moon Milk really takes the latte to the next level.

I love Summer Moon- I’ve been to several locations including the Frisco, Dallas, Fort Worth, TX and Daphne, AL locations but this is the original flagship location and I absolutely loved it!!! The staff was amazing and the atmosphere was like a little cave type feeling but it was so cool and the coffee was great!! Highly recommended if you’re in the area!

The worst Summer moon store in town! This is a second time happening specifically in this store. I’m keep ordering triple or quad moon shaker, this is what I get ONLY IN THIS STORE. Every other location, I would get double of this drink.
But the part that bothers me the most is that, they don’t care. I asked her if this is a triple moon shaker, she goes “ ohh yeah for sure “. Well I’m not sure because this is not what I pay for when I visit a different summer moon location like by Domain.
I wish I was still living close to Domain.
The girl was next to me also was complaining that she got a different drink but same girl was like “ ohh that’s a matcha latte for sure “ and she looked at the cup and gave her right back.
Also, cashier lady was very cold, she goes “ what you wanna get “. Other stores people would be like “ Hey, good morning, what would you like to drink this morning “ like how it’s should be.
Time to explore a different coffee spot, no more summer moon, never for this location for sure.

I recently had the pleasure of trying out Summer Moon Coffee, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked into their shop, I was greeted with the warm aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans and the friendly smiles of their staff.

Their menu had a great selection of coffee drinks, from classic drip coffee to espresso-based drinks like cappuccinos and lattes. I decided to try their signature drink, the "Moon Milk," which is a blend of wood-fired roasted coffee and a creamy, sweet milk made with a secret family recipe. The Moon Milk was absolutely delicious and had a unique flavor profile that I had never tasted before.

OMG! Hands down the best coffee I've had. I got the Smores latte'. It's highly caffinated and delicious! I will be back.
