I love this place because they have the best alternative milk (Califia barista oat- every shop should use this milk bc it’s oil and ‘natural flavor’ free) but I have to stop going because they (like Starbucks) add sugar to their matcha. I have switched from coffee to matcha bc I feel way better from it. However, it costs extra here to not have sugar in the drink. It already costs extra everywhere to go non dairy. Why are they stacking odds against our health? Lol. A sugar and dairy free matcha latte here costs about $11. I am willing to pay $7 tops for a cafe made matcha latte, and it better be a large;)

Amazing gluten free baked goods! We had the GF cinnamon roll and GF whopper muffin. Their hibiscus mint tea was great as well.

Cute, intimate place with ample seating. Tasty for a good price. Great place for a breakfast date

This place is worth the visit! The food and coffee are superb, and the staff is so friendly. I'm so glad I came across this place and stopped in.

I'm upset again... at myself for not having come here sooner.
The vibe is incredible, very @ianofaustin weird. It's quaint, cozy, and creative.
The service was wonderful, I know from the ever so slight wrinkle in their eyes around their 😷 that they were all smiling and happy.
Seating is plenty enough for the sacrifice of an eclectic selection of foods and drinks, like the Matcha Mint Latte I had or the most incredible Blueberry Scone I've ever put in my mouth.
Seriously, I need an excuse to go back so if you've read this review and want to ask a few Austin Real Estate related questions... let me buy you a coffee and a scone here.

Food was excellent and the baristas/people behind the counter were very kind and affable. Their wheat super buns (the bread used on their sandwiches) are incredible; I would buy a loaf if I could.

Cool joint! The gluten free cinnamon roll is amazing! I had to ask, “is this really gluten free?”. Then I had the brisket cheese frittata and it was incredible. All this topped with a very delightful and friendly staff.

Nate's is amazing!!!! Best cinnamon rolls ever AND they're gluten free (if that's a plus for you). Other baked goods are pretty good too, but the cinnamon rolls take the CAKE!(or the roll.) A bright spot in an increasingly dim downtown Austin.

Love coming in here! They have so many gluten-free options and the almond milk latte I had this morning literally put a smile on my face.

I love Nate’s! Their hand made mini sandwiches are perfect for a lite lunch option. Their baked goods are second to none! Love their coffee too! The owner is always around and their entire staff is very friendly. Parking is a little tight but don’t let that stop you from visiting.
