Irie Bean Coffee & Wine Bar

This coffee bar is nice, because it opened up when there really was nothing else available on South Lamar, but parking is hell and there is not much seating indoors.

Definitely go when it's a nice day, sit outside and enjoy the sun while sipping your tasty beverage.

Irie bean is super close to where I love so I appreciate having some great coffee at a short distance for a little pick me up! Love that they offer beer and wine as well so you can relax out in the patio :)

My favorite coffee shop in Austin! Super friendly staff, you don't have to come long before they know your name and order. Now they have a beer garden in the back which is awesome.

Fantastic coffee shop; iconic Austin and there to stay. Check out their open mic Thursdays and artist showcases on the weekends. They also host a visual artist monthly on their walls inside.

Patio is real cool. Dogs can only be inside for a short time while ordering. Biggest disappointment is cigarette butts are everywhere on the patio. Seems like they are coming from employees too while under the covered part too. I wouldn’t bring kids or dogs here. Drinks are meh.

New to Austin and new to the coffee game in general. Since being here for a month, I feel like me acquiring a taste for coffee is inevitable. Irie bean has been, by far, my favorite spot for coffee AND hot chocolate (thank you for the shot of whipped cream, btw 😉). Working remotely, I've been checking out different spots, but I've enjoyed Irie bean the most so far.

Vibrant atmosphere, no pretense and a great cup of coffee.

Also, some of the loveliest baristas I've ever encountered.

Bring your dog and hang out on the back patio or bring your book (or iPad if you're one of those folks) and read for a bit. Plenty of regulars.

Do yourself a favor and try the iced coffee. For my money it's the best in town.

Bought an iced mocha to sip on as I walked around S Lamar and was somewhat surprised at how smooth it was. A well balanced blend of chocolate, cream, and still being able to taste the coffee. I look forward to finding myself nearby in the future.

Great local Cafe with good coffee, great outdoor seating area, and local art on display. Free wifi with ~10 seats inside and 30+ outside.
