Irie Bean Coffee & Wine Bar

I've been going to this place for years. I used to live nearby and I went quite a bit but now that I'm farther away not so much. But it still reigns as my favorite coffee shop. Down to earth, friendly staff, diverse customers and they make a delicious Chai Latte. Oh yes, and a variety of yummy gluten free pastries to choose from. Love it!

Friendly service, a great tasting double espresso with a small glass of cool water on the side. A morning can't go any better than this :)

Leslie, Cera & the whole team are always super friendly! They have the most delicious cold brew and some of the best freshly baked goods and snacks. Always a great vibe in here whether you’re grabbing to to go or want to stay and work or hang out. Highly recommend!

Love the vibe here. Came to have a couple drinks and relax. The girl working behind the bar, Makenzie, was very sociable and nice. She kept the atmosphere very light and fun with every customer I saw her interact with. I'll definitely be coming back! Also the Dirty Chai and Cream Cheese Bread I had there were delicious!

The back patio is lovely. Friendly staff, the espresso is consistent, and they have a decent selection of beer. Great spot to study or listen to live music out back, and certainly the best coffee shop along south Lamar.

The service is amazing! The barista helping us was so friendly and helpful. Drinks were served exactly as we requested. Extra dirty chai lattes. The happy hour is decent. Wine selection is limited, but sufficient. Beers are a little more broad. The environment is comfortable for friendly meetups, solo work, and anything in between.

I've only been to irie Bean a couple of times but I really really like it. The coffee is great the people are friendly and it hasn't need patio in the back where I can bring the dog. We can also walk there so it can be a fun place to go in the morning with dog before it gets hot out.

Love the location of the patio, you don’t feel like you’re right on crowded/busy south Lamar. Just be aware with your parking, there are a few lots within that square block, but plenty of signs are posted.

Typical coffee house. Small on the inside but offers a back patio. Coffee is quality, drinks are delicious and there is even a modest beer selection. Never seems to be overcrowded nor excessively noisy. Open mic nights on thursdays and occasional fun events like the upcoming clothing swap.
