Fleet is a next level coffee shop. Patrick knows everything about each coffee he has and even created two signature drinks that you will not find anywhere else. More than the fantastic coffee, pastries, and tacos is the community at Fleet. It's a small shop and an intimate spot so naturally the more you go the more familiar faces you see until you become part of the family. A few celebs have been known to make the rounds here, too!

Great coffee. I had an iced latte and an iced coffee to go. Great service and hospitality! Barista was friendly. He struck up a conversation with my boyfriend and me. He gave us tourists some great local recommendations of his favorite Austin area attractions.

Excellent coffee from diverse locations with well written descriptions of flavor profiles. Very nice staff, easy parking and tacos. What else do you need?

A perfect quick stop! Fair prices and delicious coffee. Watch out for lack of parking, though. You may have to park across the street to get to their storefront, which may impact disability access.

Came on day 5 of their opening. It's what I love about my coffee shops--smaller, cozy, a nice patio and super friendly folks. I look forward to tables to make a more comfortable work space, but otherwise, I will definitely be back!
Try their "Morning Routine" and their chai. Wonderful!

Great atmosphere, good location. The shop is fairly small and crowded, but offered good outdoor seating.

Got a great shot of espresso and my wife got an used lemon drink while we were waiting for BBQ revolution to open next door. A great coffee at a good price. Barista was very friendly, eager to help and knowledgeable about the different coffees they were serving.

I take my coffee very seriously, and Fleet coffee probably has the most consistently great coffee in all of Austin. From cortados to cappuccinos to iced coffee, they always produce high-quality and well-executed drinks. Their bean selections shift frequently, so I enjoy experiencing something a little different (but always great) each time I go. Their flash-brewed (aka pour over) iced coffee is a standout. I often find that other local shops that try to flash-brew end up creating a watery, bitter, and lackluster iced coffee. Not Fleet. They really nail it by preserving the bold flavor of the bean without the bitterness.
Fleet is a little on the pricey side, but no more expensive than other gourmet coffee shops on the Eastside-- and the products are superior. Everyone is always super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about what they are serving .
Fleet is also nicely decorated, but very tiny. There is some outdoor seating, but it is not well-covered from the glaring Texas sun.

Fleet Coffee is a MUST visit little coffee shop in East Austin. Here's why you need to go:
1) Coffee: They rotate their beans among the best roasteries in the USA including from smaller roasteries like Madcap (Grand Rapids, MI). My latte was very smooth and among the best I've had in ATX. You can also buy their beans on display.
2) Location: It's in a cute, little corner of hip East Austin.
3) Space: It's tiny, but they make good use of the space. There's a small outdoor space to sit in front and a long window table inside. They even forced a small bathroom inside for customers.
4) Service: Unlike the baristas in top coffee shops in other cities (sorry, NYC), they are very friendly here.
5) Food: They also sell a variety of pastries and breakfast tacos.
If you like good coffee and a beautifully minimalist designed space, make Fleet Coffee a major priority.
