Recently visited Dear Diary for the first time, and it is one of my favorite coffee shops in Austin. Our barista, Mercy, was so helpful in recommending drinks and food and was so patient. Cool atmosphere and a nice, serene spot to get work done.

Lovely quiet place. We stopped in on the way to the airport. Rachelle made us a great latte and cappuccino.

Great vegan coffee shop! Lots of food and drink options and cute art from small artists as well. Our barista, Rachel, was amazing! Very friendly and fast service.

One of my new favorite places! Their maple latte and vegan green chili burrito are so delicious and I'm not even vegan lol! I love everything I try here. There is also a nice atmosphere and it is empty a lot of the days compared to other coffee shops in Austin. Definitely recommend.

My favorite coffee place in Austin! I'm not strictly vegan but I love their coffee drinks; oat milk is the regular milk choice but I like the matcha latte with hemp milk! They've got a great golden latte, too.
The staff are super nice, barista Bradley helped me fix an issue with my card charge after checkout and was super helpful. The baristas will give fun drink recs for you too if you ask!
The shop sells artwork and comic zines by local artists, as well as pens/notebooks/stickers/etc if you feel like getting creative while you hang out. The art displays on the wall are always changing.
If you want a snack, I highly recommend the donuts (also vegan, also delicious!) and the popovers, too.
Afiak there's not a parking lot, and I never have issues finding street parking on the block.
And every Wednesday they have BOGO cold brew. ;^)
Love spending a weekend afternoon here!

Staff is great, vibe is great, art and merch are great. Just getting super expensive and changing like everything else. Scone or a slice of banana bread costs $6. Iced Chai is $8 with tip. Tacos are now bought frozen and microwaved for you, instead of served fresh (which is totally fine to buy frozen if you want to save it for later!)
Idk, times are tough, it’s a bummer. I’ll save my visits for special mornings now (like when they have bogo cold brew, yum)
Edit: I changed my review from 4-5 stars. Thanks to response from owner

Great atmosphere to work/study and the drinks are excellent. Top notch customer service; Mercy the barista went above and beyond.

Wow what an incredible place! Laidback and relaxed atmosphere. Service was incredible! Mercy the barista was patient in taking our order and then quickly got the orders out. She was informative about helping us make a choice for what we wanted. Thanks

This is an all vegan coffee shop and its amazing! Whenever I bring my friends they like the coffee- I personally don't drink coffee so I love that they have lots of food options: tacos, kolaches, muffins, donuts, etc! A great atmosphere to get work done. My only complaint is that its pretty cold but that might just be me.

What a cozy, friendly, beautiful coffee shop in Central East Austin! Litsa is awesome and took great care of everyone when I hosted a birthday get-together here. I love that I got to see two different art exhibits while I was in town for a week. The drinks are top notch, and the food comes from stellar vegan vendors from both Austin and San Antonio. Check out the community sketchbook while you're here and draw something yourself.
