Review of Cannon Coffee
Cannon Coffee is a cozy and inviting coffee shop located at 1901 W William Cannon Dr Suite 165A in Austin, Texas. With its friendly staff, delicious coffee, and relaxed atmosphere, it's a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
The coffee at Cannon Coffee is highly praised by customers. Whether you're in the mood for a cappuccino, an americano, or a lavender London fog, they have a wide variety of options to satisfy your caffeine cravings. They also offer a selection of tea for those who prefer a different kind of brew. The almond croissant is a must-try, and they also have vegan muffins and baked goods from Zucchini Kill for those with dietary restrictions.
One of the standout features of Cannon Coffee is its friendly and welcoming staff. Many customers have mentioned the warm greetings they received upon entering the shop. The baristas go out of their way to make customers feel welcome and ensure they have a great experience. However, there have been a few isolated incidents where customers felt the service was below average. It's worth noting that these instances seem to be exceptions rather than the norm.
The atmosphere at Cannon Coffee is described as cute and chill. The shop has a small space, but it adds to the cozy and intimate vibe. It's a great place to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done. The shop offers free Wi-Fi, although there have been a few complaints about the internet being unreliable.
Cannon Coffee is open from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, and from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends. So whether you're looking for a morning pick-me-up or a place to unwind in the afternoon, Cannon Coffee is a great choice.

I received excellent service from the barista Karen. I do not speak coffee lingo so she took the time to explain the different types of drinks on the menu which helped me make the perfect selection. The coffee quality is top notch. I will be back!

I’m thrilled about the opening of this location! The coffee’s great and the staff is friendly. The location is small, but not too busy. I’ve tried several caffeinated and caffeine-free drinks, and I haven’t been disappointed. The biscotti is my favorite treat there! The tacos and pastries are okay, but with Casa Garcia next door, it’s hard to compete with their breakfast tacos.

Coffee was good, nice variety of pastries and breakfast tacos. I would have liked for the service to be a little friendlier, considering this is a new business in the neighborhood, I wasn’t impressed by that.

It's cute and small shop with good amount customization! When I pass sprouts I aways wanted to stop to try there coffee and I did. I had a signature drink with drip coffee and oat milk. It was nice balance of sweet, but not overly sweet. They do have pantries and taco if your in the mood. I Also love the manageable size of the menu and l love the addition of adding drip coffee to drinks. alot of shop tend to forget that drip coffee even exists. They have few chairs and table in the shop and very quiet. I can see the problem of finding a seat is want to do homework or any type of works.

I was in the center for another reason, but when I saw the coffee shop, decided to try it. I ordered an iced oat milk latte, and then when I got to my car and tasted it, I would have to say that next to a Turkish coffee in NYC many years ago, it was the most disgusting coffee I ever tasted. It was so bitter that I had to throw it away. I've not only had, but also made coffees with some mild bitter aftertaste, but this was way beyond that. It started and ended bitter. Although I have never had the H.E.B. oat milk which was used, I think it was primarily the shot that made this so awful. But, just as you may judge any business by the ingredients or materials they use, this is the only coffee shop I've ever been to that doesn't use one of the major brands of oat milk. I'm sure the reason is the cost, so I would have to suspect the coffee selection is probably similar. Maybe their drip coffee is drinkable, but I would certainly never get any espresso drink there again. And, I speak from quite a bit of experience, owning Pasquini Livia 90 and Saeco Royal Coffee Bar espresso machines and 2 Technivorm Moccamaster drip coffee machines. I have had coffee from many dozens of shops all over the country, yet none have been as memorable for serving an undrinkable beverage. Sorry for the scathing review, but there is absolutely no excuse for what ended up in my cup.

Popped into this shop randomly while picking up casa g's to go and I am so glad I did! The staff were all super friendly, and the coffee was delicious. And don't even get me started on the pumpkin cream cheese muffin....I'll just say that it was gone before we made it home lol. I'll definitely be back!

My favorite local coffee shop 😍 south Austin has so few good local places, and thankfully this cute little place came along close to home. They have homemade syrups, delicious pastries and kolaches, and fantastic service. They never fail to brighten my day. Though you can't sit inside right now, they do have a couple of cute bistro tables outside if you want to sit and sip.
