The staff is p nice both times I’ve been, this is really about their hummus 😩😭😂. Yes I’m that person. I never leave reviews or gaf tbh but this double ranch size ramekin is 5.50 (with pita)
The pita is actually fire, very flavorful, fresh and browned which I love. I’d rather triple the size of the hummus than have any pita though. I was just super surprised lmao. I thought they made a mistake. I would suggest for the price giving a larger amount since it doesn’t make sense as garbanzo beans etc are not that expensive. The mercurial reason given was that it’s double the amount for half the price than at another place in town.... Whelp. I love buying dips from genuine places and homemade hummus is a fave. I would reconsider the sizes and prices. At least of things made of legumes which are not super expensive. I travel and live out of my car and miss blending my own snacks, this convinced me to just not buy food from weird yt ppl.

The pot head is my favorite drink. Cool atmosphere with outdoor seating. They also are open late and serve beer along with the occasional live band. Go support this local coffee shop on the historic 6th street.

Awesome atmosphere, great coffee, and friendly service. Best place I've stopped in Texas!
Thank you ♥️
p.s. pretty sure the owner was drawing me while I had a massive upset stomach so I hope it turned out for a funny drawing.

We had bagel pizzas. They were delicious as always. My daughter had her favorite, an iced Starf****r, and I had red wine.

Perfect place for many kinds of coffee and tea. The people who run it are awesome! Their food is even better than them. Pizza bagel is where it's at for me. Lattes are a must.

We were driving through Amarillo looking to find a vegan friendly restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised with the food. However, we did have to wait awhile for our food because the cashier was also preparing the orders. Although there was two other employees just standing around. Also, we couldn’t find a menu online anywhere. The food and atmosphere is good—I would recommend to anyone looking for healthier food on the road.

I came to Amarillo for six weeks to provide healthcare at a major medical center. I was looking for a local coffee shop that not only had great coffee and a good atmosphere but one where I felt comfortable. I found The 806th and fell in love with it since the moment I walked. It is an adventurous shop with good choices. The walls are decorated with craft from local artists. If you like a Bohemian style like the Greenwich Village then please come in. If you are judgmental or critical I believe there is a Starbucks a few blocks away. Masks are required to protect the staff and their customers and as a healthcare worker I consider that respect. Thank you for providing a little place away from home. As far as MY choices? Con Leche and a blueberry muffin.

Service with an attitude, very limited selection of food, which wasn't great. They microwave food and use supermarket bought tortillas. Chilli was bland at best. Tacos came with cold tortillas, and store bought chips.
Drip coffee didn't come with milk nor was it offered. They have powder creamer.
When paying they have options for tips starting at 25%. Ridiculous, considering their cold, unfriendly attitude.
This place isn't worth it, find somewhere else to eat. There are better vegetarian options around.

This little place is amazing. We just got hot teas to go. Full leaf tea with steamed milk was crazy delicious. Art was interesting. We checked out all of the rooms while we waited for our tea to steep. Fun place. If only the art could talk and tell us. We will come back on our next visit to Amarillo. Love that vibe!
