A disclaimer: big box stores killed off the charming individually owned bookstores, groceries, etc. of my childhood, and we are left with behemoth outpost stores of even more gigantic beastly corporations. A sad affair, but this is where we are. But. Books are books, and Barnes & Noble *is* devoted to them. In rural America, if we *didn't* have big box stores we would suffer. So I am grateful for B&N, and will continue to shop here, and take a measure of pleasure from the quiet, library-like atmosphere.

I like to come here for books, see what is new, and get a coffee. Friendly staff, clean facilities, and the books always seem to be free of dust as well. In general this store is great. Thank you for being here.

Older store but still nice. They have a good selection here and if your item isn’t in stock they’ll order it for you. I do wish they’d update their bathrooms, but that’s my only complaint. The cafe has a good selection of coffees and food.

Getting in and out of the parking lot is pretty terrible and the selction is smaller then the lubbock location. Still a good store to look at though, has a lil for everyone

Great workers but the line was abnormally long and the book I was looking for was listed as "in stock" but wasn't on the shelf. This isn't a review shaming the store; as stated, "abnormally busy" and the system read "1" book available. May have been stolen, don't care. The customer service has always been great at that store. Took my kids there all the time when they were younger. Strange circumstances doesn't change my opinion and the customer service the other day reinforced my confidence in the store.

The Barnes and Noble bookstore itself is wonderful, but I had a very cold interaction with the barista in the cafe just now.

—>I go into this cafe when I really need a drink pick-me-up and a new book suggestion, but the barista (dark hair and non-traditional framed glasses barely said hello to me and she didn’t even ask if I was a Barnes and Noble card holder.
It seemed like pulling teeth to get her to go back so I could scan my B&N card, and she called out my sandwich…no thank you, no have a nice day—nothing.
She then left the back of the bar counter to go sit with someone in the cafe. Is she allowed to do that?
I don’t understand why she made it seem like I was such a nuisance for coming in. I left feeling absolutely awful, and worse than when I initially came in. 😞

It’s the only one we have. Starbucks is a bonus. This is the smallest location of all the stores I’ve visited but they are so organized that it works. Service is great, selection and presentation are great.

Not much to say, typical B&N. However, this is one of the most disorganized stores I know of. It takes browsing through 4 sections to see if there are any new works out by my favorite authors. Problem is it should be just one sections. Lubbock store is much better.

Love Barnes & Noble, but why do the bathrooms in every store I've ever been in smell like a Porta-John on the last day of Burning Man?
