The Dancing Bean is a required stop for our family whenever we’re going through Townsend. They have a wonderful coffee selection, an inviting atmosphere, and friendly staff members. Prices are reasonable and they have super cute mugs. In fact, we loved them so much we now have two sitting in our coffee pantry! They have a great selection of board games to play while you sip on your coffee as well. I highly recommend it!

The shop was ok, the coffee was fine. A nice place to relax and have a drink. Seating could be more comfortable, I guess they want you in and out in a shot time.

Such a cozy place to get a cup of coffee. We started our morning off by getting a signature fall drink called Smashing Pumpkins. It was delicious and full of flavor!! Love the beautiful scenery that surrounds this special place!

Great coffee and service! I love supporting our locally owned businesses and spending my money at these places, as opposed to the big chains, like Starbucks, who overcharge for their mediocre products, when they could definitely afford to charge more reasonable prices! The atmosphere at The Dancing Bean is worth your time and money, relaxed and welcoming. They truly appreciate your business and I wish them continued success with their business!

A great coffee shop in the Smokies! Great coffee and great atmosphere. This was a hidden gem that we just stumbled upon during our trip, and we were so glad we found it. This would be a great place to get work done or just hang out. This is a must stop for a good cup of java!

We just had a great experience at The Dancing Bean. The service was excellent (so sorry, can’t remember the barista’s name, but she was very sweet). We were happy to find they had board games available so we sat and played “Sorry” while we sipped our delicious brown sugar latte and hot chocolate. They mentioned they’re very dog friendly, so we’ll definitely be back with our fur babies! Thanks so much!

Probably the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had! Just needed a little caffeine and decided to try the “scenic view” roast and it was amazing! I would gladly pass on Starbucks to go here. Clean, cute, comfortable, great staff and the best coffee!

I’d like to say this was great, but really my pumpkin spice latte tasted like the steamed milk. There was no distinct coffee or pumpkin spice flavor. My friend ordered an orange cream and it also tasted like milk. I don’t know if they are super conservative with the flavoring or if today was a bad day, but I can’t say I’d come and order coffee here again.

Great coffee!! Gluten free friendly! The staff is so nice and the shop is really cute, clean and comfortable.
I don't eat gluten free but, my mom has to. We both shared the chocolate chip cookie and it was devine!! It's not just an ordinary chocolate chip cookie, it's amazing! They warm it up and that's even better. I had a nitro coffee, mom had a latte with soymilk. They gave us a taste of a smoothie even! All delicious! We live in Knoxville and are quite busy but we'll make the journey again just for the delicious treats, coffee and the friendly staff. It's incredibly affordable too!
I can't recommend this place highly enough!
Very friendly to cyclists, we rode there on the trail and as soon as we walked in the employees offered us water and ice. There's even a nice shady patio with water for dogs!!!
