Carnival Cafe

We stopped at the C.C. this evening. They were advertising a deep fried pork loin sandwich (which was not on the menu). Of course I had to try it. WOW! my taste buds went into orbit. It was big, I had to take the 1/2" thick slice of tomato off it to be able to bite into it. When I was able to get a bite, all I can say is: YUMMMMMMMMMY. My husband got 2 deep fried Twinkies, another delicious treat. By the way, their coffee is great. We have tried the Philly cheese steak, giant hot dog & funnel cake, all were wonderful. There are not enough great adjectives in Webster's dictionary to begin to tell you how awesome the food & the staff is at the Carnival Café on Highway 11W in Rogersville, Tennessee. We love it...

it's a good place. They have huge hot dogs and hamburgers.

Food is excellent! Owner's are from Philadelphia, their Philly Cheese steak is to die for! But my personal favorite is the Polish Sausage with peppers and onions!

The food was delicious. People were nice. Love the selection of the food! Prices were good. Most certainly a place me and my family will go back to!

The young"man behind the counter could not have been nicer. My son wolfed his burger, so I guess that was okay. The "carnival" from the name is more the type of food than the atmosphere. The interior is pretty much "american modern diner". I stopped for the gator. I was pretty disappointed with the serving size here. The "half order" while being the most expensive thing on the menu, was only about the size of two chicken nuggets. Nothing came with it. I had to order up to the full size to even get the side of fries, which were hot, but soggy shoestring fries. The blackened gator was very tasty though.

Best food ever. Will be coming back again.
