Mama's Java Cafe

Going there on a weekend night was AWESOME!! The Porter Punch. Well with both our appetizers and our yummy chocolate cake. Serving sizes were perfect, and everything tasted yummy and hit the spot. It was so great, my husband and I can't wait to find another weekend night to go back!

Ham and biscuits tasted like generic, thin-sliced deli meat. Biscuits like cardboard,, gravy no flavor.. Very expensive! Go to McDonald's...much better and you won't break the bank.
When you use drive thru there is a menu that is illegible from the car. I just can't think of one thing good.

This place is great! Their drinks are delicious and their pastries are heavenly! Food is delicious too. Great place to meet up with friends and the staff is really friendly. They also roast their own coffee I believe and have a cool, huge machine. I can't recall the story behind it but it was interesting.

First time here for breakfast and it was delicious. I had an egg and cheese biscuit with pepperjack cheese and it was amazing. The serving was huge! The staff was so friendly and we had a great conversation about the potential for meat-free/plant-based products in the future. I can’t wait to go back.

Breakfast beverages 5 Stars. Food is prepared nicely just not great quality. Eggs tasted artificial.

Update: my family has been back here since I reviewed 3 years ago and food was much better this time. Think the first experience was just a one-off and they are very consistent in quality.

Be warned, there's only seating for maybe 30 people. It wasn't too busy today when we went for brunch though, so no wait. The food was good, including the monster cinnamon roll and the biscuits n gravy. The cappuccino was fantastic and the selection of coffee roasts is amazing! The staff was very friendly, consisting of mostly teens/young adults. I want to go again and try something from the lunch menu.

It's ok. Takes a really long to get your food/ order, kinda expensive. We tried it, I don't think we'll ever go back.

I went with my daughter to spend some time together. She is a picky eater so brought an outside sandwich in and I ordered off the menu rather than leaving to eat. When my food was delivered they told my daughter she couldn’t eat outside food, which we saw no signage saying such. We would have stayed longer and likely have gotten another drink and pastry, however, I rushed to finish my food so she could eat hers. I did Enjoy the food, the atmosphere and coffee. I’m not sure we will return due to that experience.

Never been here till today. Gotta say I'm definitely coming back. When you first walk in you get a Nice euphoric smell of Fresh Ground Coffee. For Breakfast I picked the Kitchen Sink Omelette. It was Cooked Perfect. Eggs where real fluffy and all the fine chopped ingredients were very well blended and seasoned well. I had to try the Cake Batter Frappe and let me tell you!! I'd rather have this then a standard Cake for my birthday. #100

So pleasantly surprised by this cafe/coffee shop! Great atmosphere, super friendly and helpful staff, yummy offerings. In their bakery section, they even have a house-made, protein/chocolate/peanut butter ball that is fabulous! Such a cool place, it's going to become a regular stop for me.
