My wife and I went to the Perch earlier today for the first time. We ordered the Perch, the Mexicana, ane the Lemon Sugar crepes. The crepes were consistently well made, and all three were delicious (especially the latter two)! The atmosphere was nice and cozy. We would most certainly become regulars if we lived on that side of town!

Cute cozy coffee house with knowledgeable staff on how to make coffee the right way which is refreshing now a days. Had a snack also can tell it was made from scratch. So support this small coffee house it's so worth it.

I was on the fence between 3 and 4 stars. I chose 3 mainly based on my experience there which was a Saturday. They were mobbed. The wait was really absurd. It took over 16 minutes just to get a large black coffee and an americano. Then another 45 minutes for an egg sandwich that wasn’t that great. Yea the Portuguese muffin was delightful, but the cheese was hard and cold. And admittedly the food others got - like crepes etc - looked delicious. They just need more staff or a better order/runner system. Definitely recommend - on a weekday.

I LOVE this place, and am so glad that it's around. The only independent coffee spot in Green Hills that also happens to be conveniently located--in the middle of commerce but tucked away *just* enough to not be in the neighborhood's complete congestion and chaos. The crepes are divine with lots of options to choose from, but are kind to your wallet. Definitely a spot worth meeting friends in to catch up, and/or grabbing java to go, especially if you like to support local business. 5 stars

This place has become a favorite mother-daughter brunch spot for my daughter and I. The menu is simple, but offers every permutation of crepe or omelette you can dream of. I was sad when they took the sauce out of the mushroom crepe, but I just dont order that anymore. The grits are also fantastic. Update for 2022: still consistently great food at reasonable prices.

The food is good - on par with other local crepe places in both quality and taste. The atmosphere is basic and being in a strip of shops, it only has one wall of windows, so it feels a little dark and cavern-y. Outside seating options are a plus. I'd probably give 5 stars overall, but I really just don't care for the venue. That said, The Peach seems to be an improvement from its previous iteration as The Perch.

Coffee & lattes are wonderful! If you have some time to kill & chill, the food is worth the wait. You can sit inside or outdoors and enjoy the sunshine. You go in and order, get a number, & someone will bring your beverages & food.

Best coffee around for sure.
The grits are just AMAZING!
We rather come to The Perch than going to the business around the corner literally 🤭
The food is so worth it that even of you are full, you will still want more !

This place has become my favorite breakfast in green hills. You can't go wrong with any of the crepes. Today I had an omelet for the first time and I think it's the best I've had from a restaurant in a while. The employees are kind and gracious. I don't know how the cooks remain so cool under pressure. Their kitchen is tiny but they managed to put out a lot of volume in a short amount of time. My only complaint is I wish they opened earlier. Sometimes I can't wait that long to eat because I get up so early.

I truly hate to write a negative review, as I really enjoyed the food and the staff was friendly but I was shorted shrimp in my shrimp&grits order. I called at 8am to order a bowl of shrimp & grits, and was told my order would be ready in 10 mins. I arrived about 30 mins later and, after paying, was told they still had to get my order ready, which was strange. So I waited a few minutes, which was no problem. But when I received my order and made it to the car, I saw that I'd only been given 3 pieces of shrimp. I didn't really feel like going back in. But 3 pieces of shrimp for a whole bowl? I don't understand why I wasn't just informed that they didn't have enough shrimp when I called. The staff member checked to make sure they had shrimp when I was still on the phone, so I don't know what happened, unless my order was given to someone else . I payed an extra 2 dollars for what was basically just Gouda grits. I had the bowl before at the Brentwood location and know that more shrimp usually comes with this meal.
Also, of note, the iPad felt like it hasn't been cleaned in days. That's very concerning considering everyone has to touch it to complete their purchase, and there's a whole pandemic going on.
I'm very disappointed after driving 15 mins for this experience. This was my first time at this location and it was not a good first impression.
