Super fun and talented artists. We went back the next night, and it was awesome! Genuin and traditional. We will go back next time we visit Nashville for sure.

Amazing music and venue all around! Only took a star away for the overpriced food that just wasn’t good. Very difficult to get tickets since it’s so popular and so small. Buy tickets online the second they go on sale or you’ll miss out!

We waited outside for 3 hours to make sure we could get inside and it was worth it, excellent time!!

I'll admit it. I was excited about this place from watching Nashville. Take that hype aside and enjoy this Nashville must do. We went on a Monday night at 730PM and waited in line to see Mike Henderson at 9PM. He was excellent. I wouldn't have chosen to see blues music, but I'm so glad I did. The ambiance is old school and you can feel the special aura of where talent meets music lovers. It's not surprising that so many passionate song writers get their start here. I saw other reviews complaining about the food, but this is not a cafe. You're here to see talent. We had pretzels, the Brie and the crudité. Would I have them cater a wedding? Heck no but would I recommend this place to experience music in a Nashville? Hell yeah!
Pro tip: wish we would have thought of this. If you have to wait in line for a while, order door dash or Uber eats. You'll thank us later.

We planned to get tickets for this but they are elusive. We arrived around 7:30pm to line for the late 9:30 show. It was worth the 2 hour wait. We chatted up with others in line.
We got really lucky and was seated right next to the performers.
The bluebird has had so many song writers come through over the years. This is a very intimate setting. The performers are seated in the middle of the room and small tables form around them and it fans out.
There was a $15 cover charge, but well worth it. The food menu was also decent with a wide selection of appetizers, food and salad options.
If you're coming from out of town this is a must visit.

Great local place for open mic night. Seating was tight in pews and food was honestly mediocre at best. Recommend getting there at least 90 minutes early. Got there an hour early and barely got in.

Buy tickets ahead! Small unexpecting venue, and the most amazing voices and original pieces I’ve heard. Such a unique and intimate spot to listen to music.

I love this place! Will definitely go back. Went there to celebrate my birthday. We were lucky to get tickets. Plan ahead. Read up on their website on how to get tickets bc you can only buy them 1 week in advance or stand in line day off and hope to get in. The tickets sell out quickly - within minutes of going on sale. You pay a minimal fee online to reserve tickets and then pay the coverage charge at door. Coverage charges vary with artists. It is a listening room so no talking while performers are talking, playing, or singing. I think this is what makes this place stand out because it ends of being a wonderful night of great music. There are usually 2 seatings with different songwriters at each session. We had 4 very experienced singers/session musicians and one up and coming artist one of them is mentoring. They sang some of the big hits they wrote along with some that are their personal favorites. The artists were having a great time and so was the audience. The food is OK, drinks good, but music the shining star, like it should be.
