Nice cafe with European decor. Lots of cool looking merch that would make for nice gifts.
I went there for the CBD drinks but they ran out. Sad. Their cold brew was still pretty good though. It had a hint of sweetness to it that I haven’t tasted in other cold brews.
Overall, great place for your caffeine fix and also to get a little work done.

If you’re looking to spend $9 on coffee, look no further because this will be the best coffee your money can find. Don’t go by the chic decor and casual atmosphere, because when it comes to coffee, they mean business and they know what they’re doing.
The barista suggested I try his favorite Bourbon Vanilla and I of course went with the house favorite (iced) and didn’t regret. Coffee was great! Lots of sunlight in the indoor seating area. The tables aren’t congested/crammed, they give you enough space if you just want to sit quiet and work on something, or write or draw.
Wifi password at the moment is ‘daredevil’ in case it’s hard to spot; it’s located where you place the order. Though I should warn, it was not strong at least today — not sure if it was a one-off.
Lots of parking at the back lot, with first 90 mins complimentary. Street parking is also available.
It’s pet-friendly, so don’t be surprised when you spot a cute dog sniffing you when you’re placing an order.
Overall, I highly recommend this place if you’re in Nashville. If you live here, haven’t you been there already?

Back in the day, Barista Parlor was infamous amongst coffee fans in Nashville for its pretentious salesmanship and poor hospitality.
I’m elated to say all those issues have been worked out over the years, and they’ve really come into their own, roasting their own beans and slinging one of the top 5 espresso shots you’ll find in the country, all in thoughtfully and artfully designed spaces that are really unmatched in this region. Not to mention, their biscuits rank up high in the Nashville lexicon, which is an achievement!
This location is probably my favorite out of the lot just for the interior and location, and the espresso I had ranks up there with shots I’ve had at Onyx in Arkansas and Intelligentsia in Chicago.
Can’t wait to come back…or for the business to expand and come down to Texas. Whatever comes first ✌🏼

It never occurred to us that the great music they play makes the food and coffee just that much better. The playlist transported us as we sipped a hibiscus tea and a world class drip coffee an avocado toast and a breakfast burrito: definitely will be back (next time we leave the West Village).

This was a great spot not too close to the middle of everything to grab a bite and caffeine. Minus a star as it took forever to get our drinks. Our delicious biscuit came before the drink order. I would try again because everyone had an off day but still a little slow.

My fav pour over. I used to live within walking distance but then we moved out of state. You best believe we pay homage every time we’re back!
Pro tip, get the burrito, buy the chocolate, splurge on the merch

Updating my review to reflect positive changes at this location. The current staff is super nice and attentive, a big step up from how this place used to be. The coffee is great, the breakfast sandwiches here are decent but the prices of those items are not really reasonable.

This is the coffee place is for true aficionados and for dabblers like myself. They offer pour overs and cold brew, and a few specialty drinks. Love. It. Here.

Really neat set up and good coffee. I'm spoiled with smooth strong blends from where I am but the staff were great and service was quick. Place was super clean and definitely cool place.

I really wanted to like this place. I visited this location about 5 times ( and another one in The Gulch ). Coffee has been so bad that one time I had to dump it. The majority of the times I visited the kitchen was closed. The one day the kitchen was open the food was okay. 75% of the time I’ve visited the staff couldn’t have wanted to be there less. I think the only thing this place has going for it is it’s a good work/study location. For coffee and food I would try somewhere else…
