I enjoy everything I ordered, I enjoy bringing my family and friends . It's a bit of a Drive, I'm 15 miles from Gatlinburg, but today they even waiting for me to get there, we had the place to our self, I said it's like Elvis Presley or Michael Jackson they had to rent the whole restaurant, to have it to their self, lol. Then to all the little shops , to shop shop shop.

My family and I have enjoyed this cute, downtown restaurant for 10+ years. I am saddened to say that we probably will not return. My experience here has always been top tier, servers and staff are excellent, but after finding out how greedy the owner is, I will be choosing to spend my hard earned money elsewhere. I eat here atleast once a week, we tip excellently, and for the first time ever eating in this establishment, my pimento cheese had an odd taste. I quietly stopped my server and explained that I order this item often, and today it just was not good. She was very apologetic and immediately took it off of my hands. Moments later she returned, apologizing to me that the owner would not allow her to remove it from our bill, and would I want to have my pimento cheese back. The owners solution was to hand me back the food I had already stated that I was unsatisfied with. A $3-$4 item, just cost him a 10+ year, paying customer. It was not half eaten, there was one bite missing.

The guy who now owns this place is rude and despicable. I waited 40 minutes for a table. Was there around 11:30 on a Friday so before the lunch rush hit. I was totally ignored. When I finally got a table I ask for the owner and instead of apologizing for my wait he told the servers to serve me and get me out of there. When I called him out for his rudeness he then told the servers to not serve me. After a 40 minute wait I was not served that day. His beautiful mother and dad established this business and would never have treated customers this way. He rides on their coattails and bc the business is well established and the only option downtown that he can treat ppl this way. I’ve ate there for years. Had baby and bridal showers there over the years. He didn’t care. Eat somewhere that you will be treated well and respected. A simple apology for my wait would have diffused the situation. Instead he chose to be a total a$$ and treated me horribly.

Took my friend here for her birthday. We got the sampler platter. Ice tea was great, waitress was great. Food wasn't impressive. They put my salad on top of a mini pumpkin muffin. The quiche was cold and tasteless. Chicken salad was good.
It was way overpriced.
You pay for the charm of the place.

I took my Mom to the tea room on Tuesday (her first time). I called to have my name added to the wait list around 11:45. When I went in at 12pm to confirm I was actually there, the lady was rude and tried to tell me that she didn’t have me on her list. Once she found my name, she said it would be at least 30 minutes. At that time they were out of squash soup and broccoli and cheese soup (at 12pm they open at 11am). Once we were seated, at 1:30 we were told they were out of multiple popular menu items. After ordering our Waitress came back to let us know they were out of another item both of us had ordered.
I’ve been going to the tea room since it opened, across from the former Lakeway Hospital. My mom said she wouldn’t be back and I probably won’t either. Worst experience I’ve ever had at this place. Management is horrible! I will add, our waitress was wonderful! We understand it’s not her fault.

Very disappointed it was my husband's birthday and I had been telling him how I thought he would enjoy the tea room .I called Wednesday January 11 2023 and made reversation for Saturday 14 2023 at 12 :00 .We drove a hr and 15 mins to eat there to find out they had closed I guess because they had 3 snowflakes that morning. They did not even call to let us know they were closing .Just wondering if that's the way they run their business no consideration for customers. Not for sure if I will go back and I will definitely tell my friends what they done .

Had a truly exasperating experience at the tea room Monday, Nov 21. At least three of the sandwiches on their already limited menu are wraps. What didn't they have? Wraps! Supposedly the manager had run to the store to get wraps and yet he had other errands to run and they had no idea when he'd be back. You're the manager and you have no idea that you are out of one of the key ingredients that makes up a fourth of your menu? Plus you aren't in a hurry to rectify the situation? And it wasn't a case of it was the end of the day, we were there when the doors opened! There were only three tables of customers and it took more than 30 minutes for us to get our food. The grilled pimento sandwich was stone cold and super disappointing in quality. I guess there's no reason to strive for excellence when dining in downtown Morristown is practically non-existent.

I had the Mrs. Priscilla Salad with squash soup and Timeless sweet tea. The portions were a lot bigger than expected, and I really enjoyed every last bite of it! Even the little muffin that came with my meal was packed full of flavor, and I ended up buying a dozen of them to-go. The dining area was very well put together and cozy, and I really loved the dim lighting as well. Even the set-up inside the restroom was really cute! I will definitely be back on my next visit to Morristown!

Food is always delicious and the environment is wonderful. Very peaceful place to eat. Servings are great for the price. Staff is always pleasant. If you have had a bad experience, everyone has a bad day. Also, the staff are only human. Please be mindful of this when visiting any business. This is a really great place to support!
