Went for lunch right before closing and got super fast service. I'm originally from NY and this is one of the best bagels and lox I've had outside of NY. Cappachino was pretty good also. Also you can pay with Apple pay directly from your iPhone which is really cool (not Android)

Average at best. Service was slow and I ordered a bacon and egg bagel and they forgot the bacon. I attempted to order an ice coffee and had to stop the lady in her tracks before she added ice to hot coffee, so I went with hot coffee (which was horrible). More concerning is the amount of plastic this place uses to package their to-go orders is egregious- it’s a bagel...wrap it in some type of sustainable product and call it a day. I suggest taking a trip to NYC to figure out this whole bagel thing.

Fantastic place! I’m not a bagel enthusiast but it was super good. I’ve had bagels, hashbrown/egg/meat mix, and a breakfast sandwich from here and all items were very good. I highly recommend!

NOTHING LIKE A NY DELI. After shutting down because owner didn't pay employees, my husband and I gave this place a shot. Our wait staff was bad. Took 15 mins before we ordered drinks the ordered food about 10 mins later still did not have drinks. Waitress came back 3x to get the correct order on an egg olive sandwich. Our food came out 20 mins later. Still no drinks. The egg olive e and not eatable. It was egg pickle and what tasted like vinegar. Call me and I will give you a better receipe. My husband's pastrami sandwich had barely any meat. We had ask for drinks as we try to choke down food. As we left we paid and one of the owners we was offended that we refused to leave a tip for a awful over priced meal with terrible service. I been coming here when it was City Bagel. If you are expecting that. YOU WILL NOT GET IT.

Bagels are so good, it's almost a weekly ritual for me. Never had anything here that wasn't amazing. Very nice customer service, even when they are slammed. The sign of an excellent restaurant.

The toasted asiago bagel was toasted on the outside rather than the inside, and was so hard and the cheese so burnt that I could only eat 3/4 of it. While there was more cream cheese in the bowl than the thin coating I would get at Einstein, it was by no means enough to thoroughly coat both halves of the bagel.
I also had a cup of matzoball soup, which had a bland and undersalted broth, but the matzoball was OK. The other food items were nowhere near the quality and quantity that City East used to serve up.
We never had an offer to refill our coffee or tea, and when the manager came around and asked how everything was he didn't stop to hear anything beyond "OK", and failed to hear the "but.." and was gone by the time the request for more coffee was halfway out. When we finally were able to flag down our waitress, she stopped by three other tables and then finally came around to refill the coffee, but disappeared before we could ask for more hot water for the tea.
Getting the bill was another long wait, and by the time we were able to pay for our breakfast, we had time to consider how high the prices were, how slow the service was, and how poorly prepared the bagels were. I don't think we will go back unless we hear of a major change in the recipe.

Ordered a bagel with cream cheese and bacon and an everything bagel sandwhich, we waited about 30 minutes even thought we were the only people in the store, simply because the guys in the kitchen “didn’t see”’our ticket when it came through. Waited 30 minutes for food that looks like it came from McDonalds.

I’m not a huge bagel guy, but I was feeling it this morning. I thought the price was fair ($2 for a blueberry bagel) and the wait time (est. 10 min) wasn’t outrageous. I want to go back to try the Deli menu.

The Bagel! Finally a Jewish Deli that is good in Memphis!!! Walking in, you feel like you are transported into New York, all of the smells of toasted bagels waft into your nose, the perfect way to start your morning! The lox was on point, shipped fresh from New York! The owner, Rebecca, was so sweet and you could tell how much pride she has in her restaurant. It makes you want to return over and over just to try everything on the menu! This place definitely gets the Mrs. Excellence stamp of approval!!!
