423 Coffee and Mercantile

Don't waste your money here. This used to be my favorite place, but the people working here now don't even bother to check the menu before making drinks and the food is even greasy and gross.

Walked in and was just stared at by the two female employees who did not even greet or acknowledge that I was there. Was going to order something after looking around the "Mercantile" but I won't be back due to their behavior.

Best white mocha I've ever drunken. These ladies are fantastic, polite and above all else, professional! Great job ladies!

I've gone twice now and the older lady at the drive thru was insanely rude. Coffee was overpriced. I also heard the owner complaining about the poor homeless people that stay in those woods back behind the place. I'm guessing that's what all the NO TRESPASSING signs behind the place is for.

It was okay. My sugar free caramel macchiato was really good but I got a blueberry muffin that was dry and just 'meh'. My hub's banana split took 25 minutes to get even though we were the only customers in the place.

Best lattes I’ve had in a long time. I had the luxury of being spoiled with Pacific Northwest Coffee shops when I lived in Washington for a year. I haven’t found a coffee place near as good as there in Greeneville until my wife brought me to 423 coffee. Im so glad she recommended this gem. I’d highly recommend this place for those that love quality and consistency in their coffee.

We wanted so bad to really like this place, especially since it is open on Sundays but when you charge $.75 for half and half, I don't think Starbucks even does that. And another $.75 for cream, again, maybe Starbucks does do that but that would be a reason we don't go. Then by the time you add flavor shots, I could go buy 4 coffees at Dunkin Donuts or Cup Creamery. Seems as more and more coffee shops open in the area, these expensive upcharges will not be a welcomed addition to an already high price. Very disappointed.

Been there 3 times in the past 2 weeks and always out of something for smoothies or banana splits.

Great atmosphere, everyone there is full of energy and good company! Love trying their new creations! Lavender vanilla shakerato is an old fav of mine <3
