People I know in Franklin have had similar experiences with rude employees at this location, and have thankfully shared they will never be returning. I went to Whits yesterday and there weren’t any tables available so my friend and I went over to sit on the tables in front of Coffee and Coconuts, well bad idea. Everything was fine until about 10 minutes in this employee I kid you not literally came up to the table we were sitting at, picked it up, and dragged it away from us to “clean the ice cream because we were not allowed to get it dirty”. Did not even say a word to us until he had already taken the table away from us. Would have been fine if he approached us in a friendly manner asking us to clean up after but he blatantly physically took it away from us. And we were going to clean up and to be honest there was only a small drop of ice cream. I do NOT and will NOT ever recommend this place. People who have visited the inside have told me they never felt welcome. Don’t come here

The cutest coffee shop, the nicest people, and the best coffee! The decor is super cute, fun, and welcoming! I got the pour over coffee and it was really well made and the staff was efficient and personable! I will definitely be coming back and I recommend everyone stop by this cute Franklin gem!

The atmosphere is great but it's all style and no substance. I didn't even drink my coffee and the acai bowl I had was half frozen. The muffin was good though.

This is my absolute favorite coffee shop! They have some of the best employees and their atmosphere and coffee are addicting. I visit the shop often and almost always grab a Cuban while I'm there... you've gotta try it! One things for sure, you won't regret visiting here and will more than likely be planning your next visit before you leave!

The Apple Cider Chai is in now and it’s delish! A bit of a spice kick in the chai makes it way less sweet and bold

4 people working behind the counter, with 3 doing nothing, for the most part, except 1 person made a smoothie that several of them tasted and left on the island prep table.

They made the drink for people that came in after me.
1 customer helped himself to a refill from the airpot behind the counter, while offering a cigarette to another person behind the counter, which they then went out to smoke. One person wearing gloves, which were put on after handling the cash register, took a dollar bill from another worker, while wearing his glove, then went back to handling food. Literally the worst examples of food safety I've ever seen in a coffee shop.
So, no, I didn't touch my drink.

Love the coffee and aesthetic of the shop; however, leaving one star because staff and owner really need to work on attitude towards customers. I have come here many times and every time is worse than the last. From being ignored while ordering, even the owner being rude and not listening to me while ordering and even taking a phone call while I was still speaking. I’m sorry I wish this all wasn’t true but something needs to change in order to be a successful small business, customer service is key. I have never come in and not been eye-rolled at by the baristas. This all saddens me because otherwise this would be an awesome place, just not a welcoming environment at all :(((

Son and I decided to try out the place…After the customer in front of us was taken care of we seemed to remain invisible… A girl cutting strawberries seems to busy to do anything about it… Maybe I wasn’t white enough I guess…This place is for the local Karen’s who live above the rest…

This shop was adorable. The coffee selection was great. The only thing I think would do this business well would be more of a dining area for sitting. They seemed to have a good customer base. I absolutely loved the wall paper in the bathrooms!!

Great atmosphere. The perfect blend of background noise to work, but still have a good time. I especially enjoyed my coffee. The best Cuban I’ve ever had. I’d highly recommend to anyone in Franklin.
