food was great but our server didn't check on our table until we were done eating. didn't refill the drinks until we asked. Food is worth visiting again

My husband and I were told we need to eat at " Pappy & Jimmies", glad we listened... reminds me of the food my Grandmother made...good southern food!! Great breakfast also. The staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely will be back.

I wouldn't say this was quite a hole in the wall just very casual like a waffle house. Our server was a very nice and polite young man who promptly attended to us. Think out of a can, box, bag kinda food. I had chicken tenders and asked our server if they were hand breaded and fried and he said yes. No doubt they were frozen then fried. We just were not impressed. Most likely won't be back.

The service was extremely rude, racist and horrible. My husband and I were left with menu's. But it took them over thirty five minutes for someone to come and take our drink order. We were the only two African american people in the restaurant other than the cooks, so I'm assuming that's why the service was so HORRIBLE. But that didn't stop then from waiting on at least four different sets of people that came in after us, who immediately was shown a menu and received drink orders within five minutes. Then finally a waiter came over to take our drink order, he came back after about ten minutes with a cup of water and sweet tea. He told us that someone would be with us shortly. But that never happened, after twenty more minutes we finally got up and left. We were going to sit there just to see how much longer it take, but decided it wasn't worth it. If I could give it a negative five, I would. Incredibly rude and racist restaurant!!!
