Cream City Ice Cream & Coffee House

There is a reason this is one of the most popular ice cream places in the city. It's a great place to take the family and have delicious ice cream.

My wife and I stopped by for the first time when we were shopping in Cookeville. Cozy little place with staff that seemed nice enough. Good selection of ice creams with some unique flavors.
My wife got a plain coffee but was put off that they didn't bother to have real cream or half and half for the coffee at a supposed coffee/ice cream shop. Don't you use milk or cream to make ice cream?
It appears they had a good selection of other flavored coffees, though. If you wanted one of those, they sounded good.
If we were in the area and wanted a scoop of ice cream, we'd probably stop again.

Love their selection of ice cream and even their coffee is wonderful. My favorite is a stellar coffee milkshake with 2 espresso shots mmmm wonderful combo. My wife really enjoys their lattes and macchiatos. And my daughter enjoys their Superman ice cream which, unlike many others, has multiple berry flavors. Staff is always nice and patient and the store is very clean. Highly recommend!!!

The ice cream is delicious, and the workers are extremely kind. I love going here to satisfy my sweet tooth. However, the customers can be so rude. If you're standing up at the counter, ordering ice cream, trying to pay, Lord forbid they wait their turn. No, instead they feel the need to shove you aside and push their way to the front to simply try a flavor and stand there. I have no qualms with the cafe itself, but I'm not going back during busy hours.

Had a coffee my son had ice cream. Was very good. We couldn't leave until my son hugged the two servers. It was a wonderful experience for all of us. The staff has amazing hearts and i enjoyed seeing them love on my child. It was a special moment made by them.

Some of the best ice cream I have ever had. This ranks up there at #1 or #2. Hidden gem in Cookville, Tennessee. Located directly across the old rail station. It's a must stop if you're in the area. They had a great selection of flavors. Their scoop sizes are big. Rich, delicious flavors .

A stellar place. Staff is great and the ice cream was a nice treat for me and my family. We also had a very large group and they served us in a very efficient amount of time.

The lighted Cream City sign is a Cookeville icon and it's great to have a cozy shop right under this landmark. The ice cream is spectacular. The staff/owners are friendly and wonderful. I've never had an awesome coffee there, but it could be I'm far too particular. However, the atmosphere and the ice cream are what it's all about. And you can mosey across the street to enjoy your ice cream and explore the ever-present train at the depot.
