This place just astounds me. They roast their coffee expertly, and buying whole bean from them has absolutely transformed my home coffee experience. They craft espresso beverages with care, and they definitely make the best cortado in town. But most incredibly- everything they do, they do with an ethical conscience as well as an artistic and culinary conscience. This is a company with a clear mission of supporting local refugee families as well as the communities across the globe from which their beans are sourced. They educate about the rich and complicated histories of these communities and are dedicated to furthering a more just future. I can’t say enough about Mad Priest. Thank you for being you!!

One of the best places to buy hometown coffee beans!

Great local gem, we were in Chattanooga on a family vacation, looking for a place to have gelato, this was it! Unique gelato flavors, excellent coffee, in a cosy, little shop. Servers took the time needed to prepare our orders correctly, not to be rushed, when you are waiting for something great. Must try if you are in Chattanooga! Don't miss this little gem!

This is our favorite local roaster by far! We love going in and getting a free drip when we buy our coffee! With Kochs, right next door, it makes for the perfect 1-2 punch of coffee and donuts!

Staff was exceedingly friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Coffee was good to me, but I am not a coffee freak. Pastry store right next door makes a great combination. Parking is easy and right next to the building.

We started coming here after they reopened post quarantine. They have THE best coffee in town. It's location is next to Kochs bakery making it a one stop shop for coffee and doughnuts. The barista is friendly and detail oriented. This place is a shining star on the Southside.

This is such a unique and authentic cup of coffee. I have roasted for over a decade and the Mad Priest concept endorses the roots of the plant with its exceptional single origin roasts. I stopped by while traveling but if this place were in my hometown I'd be there every day.

Not only are the staff coffee connoisseurs, but they are also very friendly. Excellent coffee and wonderful atmosphere— seriously, loved the books and the reference to The Count of Monte Cristo.

Woah! Awesome coffee. Friendly staff! This will definitely be a destination I visit every time I come back to Chattanooga! This city is fortunate to have a gem like this. Keep up the great work.
