Thoroughly enjoyed our brief experience at Mad Priest. Wonderful customer service...immediate engagement from young lady at cash register upon entering and friendly conversation from both young ladies while ordering. Great messaging...loved the "Get Mad" slogan and efforts by company to protect the interests of coffee farmers. ABSOLUTELY SUPERB COFFEE..all three of us fully enjoyed our coffee beverages, pumpkin muffin and biscottis. We stumbled upon this shop and decided to stop given the cool name and positive reviews. Definitely will visit again when traveling through or visiting Chattanooga.

New redesigned space since my last visit. Same wonderful aromas of coffee and basked good from next door.

They source their beans unroasted then roast them on site. Best cup of Joe in Chattanooga! You owe it to yourself to grab a cup of Mad Priest coffee! (Buy some merch too!)

Great coffee and friendly staff!! We stopped on our way out of town and our drinks were a great way exit Chattanooga. The space is small but they use it well and their merchandise is on point with their name. My spouse and I both left with mugs and I also got an enamel pin. It’s always disappointing to visit a coffee shop with a clever name and quality drinks but nothing available to the consumer to remember them by. I had the “Maple-icious” and it was exactly that. We will be returning on our next trip!

I decided to drop by and grab a coffee when googling coffee shops in Chattanooga. I wasn't sure based on the pictures of they had food or not and decided to see for myself.

The short is they don't really offer much from the food department, but they have great pastries and a "symbiotic" relationship with the donut shop next door.

I decided to have my coffee on site and I will note this is more of a takeaway, as it's very small. The coffee is fantastic and the lovely sourced pastries are also on point, but if you're looking to sit down and enjoy a coffee and snack there are only two seats to choose from. If you're lucky like me you will be able to do so, but otherwise you'll have to grab and go.

I got the brown sugar latte as they made their brown sugar syrup in house. It was delicious, on the sweeter side which was expected and appreciated.

Both the baristas were wonderful and polite. They made me feel welcome and happy that I happened to crawl on through.

We got the brown sugar special drink with an extra espresso. The coffee tasted great and I even grabbed a sticker for the tool box. The ladies working their were very nice as well!

Chattanooga, TN. House-roasted coffee beans, social justice initiatives, and hilarious marketing drew me in.

So the mad priest was a character in The Count of Monte Cristo; mad as in loony tunes, but he helped a guy wrongfully imprisoned turn his life complete around and on this note the idea for this insanely quirky coffee shop was born. You must come here if only for bragging rights and to check out the cool interior but you’ll end up hooked on the coffee.

*I’d give them 10 stars for customer service!!! I left my wallet there and Cory bent over backwards to help me! I mean we had stellar customer service while there but when they saved my vacation I now owe them my life lol.

Hands down the best coffees we’ve had in Chattanooga, hidden gem for sure! The flavors were so well complimenting to another and we couldn’t ask for kinder service.

We just happen to be driving down the road and the logo painted on the building caught my eye. It is fun and quirky and I knew I had to go back for coffee and find out more about it.

First off the coffee... superb👌
Had the Mad Hatter/hot and the Queen of Hearts/cold... truly some unique flavor combos that tasted smooth, slightly sweet and robust.

The inside of the shop is small and quaint but decorated with a quirky charm. There is lots of fun merch to buy and I'm big on stickers, there were some great sticker choices.

I highly recommend stopping in, grabbing a coffee, sticker and having a chat with the super nice workers.

They were welcoming and helpful. We tried two of their seasonal drinks and they were delicious. The atmosphere is electic and fun. It is small inside, but the large window with bar seating is a great spot to people watch.

Best cafè in Chattanooga! Staff are very friendly, familiar with the area and give good food and activity recommendations, the drinks are high quality, the merchandise is creative and fairly priced. The owner definitely cares about the business as they've kept in touch with the farmers of their beans, and go on trips to stay updated on coffee culture around the world. There's iced and hot coffee options, traditional and specialty drink options, and alternative milk options.
