Caverna Coffee & Bistro

This place is an absolute GEM - we couldn’t have stumbled on anything better. A cool young couple owns and runs it, their family did all the metal and woodwork, the sweets are local, their pups are adorable, they have fresh, healthy food options that are delicious, great cold brew, their decor is curated by local artists, they have a fireplace, games and a great shaded patio and drive through. BRAVO!

Super yummy and friendly coffee shop. I didn't get a pic of the bagel sandwich because after the first bite I couldn't put it down. The coffee was an excellent roast. Very smooth and not too acidic. When we come back to South Dakota this will be a must stop again. Thank you!

Recently purchased by a young local couple, Caverna is a highlight of the Black Hills. Their passion for this shop comes through in their delicious food, aromatic drinks, and wonderful customer service.

I love this place!!! You can feel the peaceful vibe the minute you walk into this eclectic, casual, original and artistically designed coffee and bistro. The coffee menu is extensive and unique. My coffee was so smooth with no bitter taste and the service was amazing! Food menu is incredible with fantastic food for breakfast, lunch and brick oven pizza...so many choices...my new favorite restaurant, worth the drive!

Caverna has great coffee, and their food is delicious! Everything is really high quality. We get coffee here often, and have had their breakfast burritos, hamburgers and pizza-all great! It’s so nice having a good coffee shop/bistro nearby that rivals the ones in Spearfish 😊

The pizza is delicious, but very small for the price they charge. Your better off going to Spearfish Sd and getting a brew and pizza at Sawyer’s.

Great service. Everything I ordered off of their food menu was excellent, I would recommend the smash burgers 100%, the best I’ve had, the biscuits and gravy were amazing, delicious breakfast sandwiches, and the coffee is so good too. Hoping to make it back here someday. What a hidden gem 💎

I ate here for the first time today and wish I would have discovered it sooner! Cute place that has friendly staff and excellent food! I will be back soon to try their brick oven pizza!

First time. Great experience, amazing pizza on Friday and Saturday nights. Definitely be returning whenever in the area.
