My favorite drink so far is Brian’s PB caramel blended coffee drink! Breakfast croissant sandwich is a steal. Great price and it fills you up😋 The staff are always super nice and you have to sign up for their rewards. Easy to sign up and sign in. I’d definitely recommend coming to backroads for all your coffee needs

I can’t attest to the food, but I can say the coffee is fantastic! My mom, sister and I all loved it. The atmosphere is cozy with a lot of seating. Perfect for a coffee/lunch date with a friend. There’s also a cute little kids corner with books and a window seat which I thought was a super thoughtful touch. This shop is a great addition to Watertown!

Lovely decor, great selection of coffees, delicious foods, AND you can have an adult beverage! My only concerns are the noise level and short hours. Otherwise, a favorite place.

Sometimes finding a cool-looking coffee shop on the edge of a small town feels like a jackpot! Loved loved the ambiance! Creative and kid friendly (got swings!). I got regular coffee and it was descent.

Love the Iced coffee, but ....

Ordered a simple scotcheroo bar, which was never delivered. Asked for my money back and was treated with suspicion. No "We're Sorry about that", but more like glances St my table to see if I was lying. I gave them a half hour to deliver it.

Tiny frittata serving...no table service even if you are wearing a wrist brace.maybe if you ask. Cappuccino was good, food just okay. Nice seating area.closes in afternoon.

I love the look of this shop! However, this is the second time I’ve come into the shop and was completely ignored for a few min while the staff was more interested in talking to each other than taking my order. I had to clean of a table myself because the tables that were not used were all covered in dirty dishes. As I put the dishes on the counter, a few of the girls just looked at me, gave me a weird look and continued to talk amongst themselves. I felt too uncomfortable to stay, so I left.

Nice location and feel, good food and pastries. Coffee is good, but not amazing for flavors. That being said, I really appreciate that drinks aren't generally overly sweet, and brew/serve temp seems to matter to them.

Always very friendly, great atmosphere and amazing food and drinks. A must stop while in the Watertown area!

Came in on our bicycles and were treated sso well, letting us stay while it rained outside, terrific service.
