Not a great experience, and way too over priced for what you get. $14.50 for a dry burger and $3 for a cup of pop from a soda machine. Two out of our group ordered the buffalo burger. Came with no cheese, lettuce, tomato, no sauce and did not taste like buffalo. Looked and tasted exactly like the other burger that was ordered, which had an egg and brisket on it. This burger also did not come with cheese on it, even though the menu said that it did. Food was just very subpar. I would say one of the worst burgers I have had by far. If you by chance come here, just order the pizza. Pizza wasn’t bad. Service was just super slow. Took about half an hour to get our drinks and food order taken, then another half an hour to get our food. Overall, unfortunately, just ok.
Post Sturgis week (or last day). Not busy afternoon from clientele inside & outside from my observation (there with spouse and friends). Drinks out quick enough, but a couple of appetizers did not materialize after 45 minute wait. Few patrons arrived after we did and they left after not being greeted by personnel. Good for a quick drink, but unless you're willing to wait, look elsewhere.
I originally gave this a very low review but since then the owner reached out and made things right and invited us back personally. I am changing my rating to four stars simply because of how much she cares. I believe our next experience will be a good one and we are going to visit again.
This was one of the best restaurants we ate at during our road trip through South Dakota. They have signed up all over that they only use local meat. The staff was super nice and the food we had was good.
Very good burgers, though it would have benefitted from a little more sauce but overall a good place to eat and friendly staff. We visited in the off season so it wasn't very crowded and was open :-)
Not worth the time or your wallet!!! Service- not good. Waitress didn't bring us water. Just came to our table & asked what we wanted. Brought our food... didn't check on us. Manager- as bubbly as she was, she was concerned with impressing ppl at another table then checking her restaurant. Food- not impressed for the cost. Not worth the money they charge. Small portions. They are getting for tourist season, charge/ give less
The food was very good but the service was below standard. We would have stayed longer but the bartender had a bad attitude and made us feel unwelcomed. We will not return.
The waitress was friendly while she delivered fries leftover from last night's customers. Scotties BBQ burger had a whisper of BBQ on an otherwise lacking burger adorned with a stale pretzel bun. There's a Common Cents gas station just down the road-- would have been better off there.
I don’t write reviews very often, but this diamond in disguise was beyond deserving. Our waitress was fantastic, the atmosphere had a warm and welcoming rustic feel and our prime rib sandwiches were top notch! We’ll definitely be adding this restaurant to our “must stop” list.

A cold day in the badlands and we stumbled on this restaurant. Homey country feeling with comfort food. The chicken noodle soup was amazing!
