Original Pancake House

I was pretty let down from this place. It started with being told the wait would be 30-35 mins for 2 people. Finally after 1 hour, we got seated. The wait doesn't bother me as long as the food is good. Here comes my 2nd disappointment.

When I order blueberry pancakes, I expect blueberries to actually be in my pancakes. This place, to cut corners, time and turn over tables, just makes plain pancakes and throws fruit on top. Nothing like trying to stab blueberries with a fork. Most just roll off the plate and onto the table. Bisquits and gravy were ok. Too small a portion for a full grown man.

Prices were ok. Nothing crazy. But with the long waits, lack of passion in the food, the push to hurry up and turn tables over, I'm not coming back. One and done.

This place always seems to do very well. Never had a bad breakfast here. Imo best place to get breakfast in Sioux Falls.

The food is so good! And there's so much of it! It is a tad bit expensive, but considering the quality, quantity, and tastiness of the food that is served. There is also a longer wait time, but it is well worth it. I am planning on coming back in the next week or two, and am really looking forward to it!

The wait time is down to about five minutes now, and the visit was very enjoyable! I would also highly recommend Jeremy the waiter for a significant raise/promotion! He was amazing!! Very friendly and great at his job!

The food and service are always great. It's unfortunate that you almost always have a lengthy wait to be seated; I'd eat here more often if the wait wasn't so long.

Great service and delicious food. I got corn beef hash with medium over easy eggs and it comes with 3 pancakes on the side.

Didn't feel super welcome here. Felt like staff just wanted people in and out. Food was good.

I’m having travel for the company lately and I struggle to find a place with a good breakfast, but I got lucky here. Had the French toast yesterday and I’m having pancakes today. Food is delicious, staff is friendly clean and nice environment.

I was disappointed in the quality of the food. I ordered an omelet and it lacked flavor not sure if they season their food or not. I was pretty disappointed.

We didn't have to wait long to get in. Everything was great 👍
The waitress was very polite.
