Alternative Fuel Coffee House

Made a quick stop to grab some coffee and am glad I did. Coffee was great and staff was very friendly.

Ordered delivery through Food Dudes and the restaurant canceled my order. I wanted to give them business since I think some of the reviews here are unjustified and I've had good service in the past, but unfortunately this review is one star higher than deserved.

EDIT: Food Dudes claimed that you, AFCH, canceled the order. I'm not interested in playing detective trying to figure out who is to blame, you can squabble amongst yourselves. But what I DO know is any talk of respect being due is presumptuous when my order was not completed. You gave me nothing but a headache and I owe you nothing. I don't appreciate the gaslighting either. This review will stay at 1 star.

Great coffee, hot chocolate, smoothies and breakfast!! Highly recommend this hidden gem by the ice skating rink!

The ladies working today have been the greatest! They helped us with our options and even joked around with us!! Would definitely be my main coffee shop if I lived in town! Thanks so much!

This was on a Saturday so the 30 minute wait for fuel bites, yogurt fruit parfait, a bubble tea and chai seemed a bit long, but we were patient was it was very busy downtown.

We were already back to the car before my daughter noticed that her straw in her boba was not big enough to get any boba out? Maybe they just don't have the big straws. Also, she said her boba was not like any other boba she has ever had; she did not like it but enjoyed her parfait, fuel bites were great, chai was good but not as creamy and vanilla as I like (maybe I should have asked for extra flavor).

Such a fun, warm and welcoming atmosphere. The drinks and food are delicious. Staff and the owner are the absolute sweetest. Wishing I lived in SD now but at least I will have a favorite spot when I visit.

Warm milk with a hint of coffee when you order cappucino..make sure to ask for extra shots of Espresso if you like strong coffee.

Love this place! I have read some of the other comments from people where they felt staff was rude or they didn't have a positive experience and am surprised at this. I have never had a bad experience and love the food and drink items as well as the fact that it is a smaller business and not just a large franchise. I think we all have had to have extra patience over the last year in regards to how fast service is however, fresh items also take longer to prepare and is worth the wait in my opinion. I can also say that as a pet owner I am usually prepared with a bowl or poop bags for my dogs when we go out and about as that is just part of being a responsible pet owner. Can't say enough about the staff and the quality of the menu items, I personally am in love and obsessed with their lavender lemonade...it is to die for!!
