Pump House at Mind Blown Studio

The Pump House is down the street from where I work and it is my favorite lunch spot. Great coffee and sandwiches/ wraps. The blown glass pieces are gorgeous! I appreciate that they have an outdoor seating area since that is so rare in Deadwood.

Absolutely wonderful food here. Their bagels are fresh from rapid, and taste just like mom used to make. They make a mean chai tea and coffee. In addition to the amazing food, they have glass blowing classes (closed now due to COVID). But I had an absolute blast making an ornament!

We stopped by for coffee and treats on our way home from snowboarding. They let us warm up by the glass blowing ovens, and then did a demonstration just for us! There was a great selection of foods (including gluten free), and the coffee was great.

What a cool place. We stopped in for a coffee and let the rain pass while we were on our motorcycle. We struck up a conversation with the two glass artists. They answered all of our questions and were very polite. We actually purchased the piece we watched them make and had it sent to our house. Well worth the time to stop. Brad & Kim

Amazing! Truly a beautiful place. I woke up at hotel down the road and needEd coffee to start they day. Drove through the beautiful town with its gorgeous historical buildings and walked in to this awesome place. Beautiful art everywhere unique souvenirs and a friendly staff. I ordered an everything bagel and an 20 oz Frappuccino! Which is way better then starbucks and I LOVE STARBUCKS! I'll come back again for sure you must stop and visit this place!

A total must do when in Deadwood! Experience glass blowing for yourself or watch a demo. Toni is a great teacher and it's a unique experience you won't soon forget! They also have great coffee and breakfast or lunch items as well as cold beer 😉

Loved this! This is a not to be missed place in Deadwood. Where else can you get coffee AND taken lessons in creating art from molten glass? This will be on my list of things to do every time I am in Deadwood, as I have never seen a place like this before. Also, Toni, the owner/artist is wonderful and patient.

COFFEE & GLASS BLOWING - What could be better?
I originally discovered Pump House at Mind Blown Studio years ago when we visited to Deadwood. I was desperate to find a local coffee shop and found more than what I bargained for! Not only do they have fabulous coffee, their baristas are fun and friendly (shout out to Chandler and Shelby)!
The owner, Toni, is an incredible glass blowing artist. She has some of her amazing creations for sale and (this is the best part!) you can schedule a class with her to make your own glass blown art!!
You can't go wrong stopping by for coffee, class, or glass. :)
