Very minimalistic. Don't expect any ambience. We had walleye and it was nothing to tell your friends about. I suspect if you lived here it would be a place to meet up with friends and enjoy the time. A very local atmosphere which is probably a good fit.

There is a bar/restaurant in the back of this place. The front of the house looks like a worn out diner but most locals go to the back room. The Walleye was excellent, the beer was relatively inexpensive and it was pretty laid back. The only thing I did not like was the soup from the salad bar was not hot enough which seems like a major no-no. I don't think I'd take kids here but I would definitely visit again.

Visited on a Thursday because they touted a salad bar. The salad bar was a bowl of a lettuce mix, 9 dressings, a potato salad, and two soups that were nearly empty.
One thing we ordered was a fish sandwich, looking forward to the tomato and lettuce that accompanies it we got instead three pieces of cod as a fish and chips. It was fine as we were ordered one or the other. No big whoop.

They must have hired a new person. We overheard she took a couple of phone orders and immediately messed them up. Offering them a soup that was gone and not taking the order correctly so they cam call the person back with the news. It was to be a surprise for sure.
Lastly, bring your cash. If you pay by card, they charge you extra. Found that out on the bill. New girl, "oh yeah, usually I tell people that before running their card.".... too many disappointing surprises and not much care.

Found this place on a road trip. Had spaghetti that included the salad bar. The salad bar didnt have a lot of items but it was all very fresh, and the chili was good. Overall the food was excellent and staff was very nice and friendly.

Awesome service, pretty good food, must support this business.

We found it clean, good menu selection, pleasant owner and staff. Well worth getting off the freeway and experiencing a nice home town restaurant. We will return on future trips.

Passing through and stopped in. Reminds me of great childhood tavern and restaurant combos without the tavern. Loved the Spicy JalapeƱo Pretzel Burger and Chocolate Malt! Also the Blueberry Pie ala mode was great. Nice small town diner feel, but with more... Painting on far wall and decorations adds a fishing cabin flavor. You must stop to enjoy this great lunch location gem on main street. Very nice staff.

Took a short detour off I-90 during a trip to check this place out. Food was fantastic, service was good too! I would recommend it to anyone who wants a quality meal instead of the usually available fast food. Definitely hit the spot.

A fine Sunday Morning breakfast favorite of ours. We are not the only patrons, after the Church services are done, this Restaurant fills up. The good is good, & because they serve breakfast way after 12:00 without a problem, unlike other local Restaurants.

The food was hot and well prepared. Large portions for the prices, and the service was great. The salad bar was also very fresh. Pie looked delicious.
