My first time at this establishment and I was greeted cheerfully by the owner Zach. I had many questions about the coffee and tea options and he was very knowledgeable and cordial and answered them all. The pricing is affordable and the beverages quite tasty. I chose an espresso beverage called shot in the dark which included dark chocolate. A delicious option for those who like the boulder flavors and not being overwhelmed with the sweet and creamy additives although I did ask for a splash of milk which was a perfect ratio. My companion chose the signature hugga mug with oat milk and was delighted with the outcome. The decor is very cheerful and inviting. There's comfortable seating for conversation while enjoying your beverage. This establishment is tucked away in a plaza which is easy to miss so make sure you follow your GPS. I would like to give kudos to Hannah who was not there that day but was given credit for the beautiful floor to ceiling menu that greets you when you first walk in the door.

You should definitely try this wonderful place the next time you're in North Myrtle Beach.

Hug a Mug Cafe in Myrtle Beach is a comfortable place to enjoy a really good coffee. I had The Calico and it was so delicious. My everything bagel toasted and spread with real butter was delicious. Knitted items, stickers, mugs, bagged tea and other locally made items are for sale. The owner was super friendly, as well as her patient and helpful son working.

A gem of a coffee shop! I ordered the Hug in the Mug and I enjoyed it. Very friendly and courteous service. Will surely return when I visit Myrtle Beach again.

This is a cute spot near North Myrtle Beach serving delicious coffee. I love the ambience and array of options for coffee and light breakfast. We spent about 30 minutes and ordered Cortado, hot chocolate and Hug in a Mug signature coffee. The service was super friendly and the store sells neat artifacts, handmade paintings and keychains. The experience is like walking in a home artist store.

Excellent coffee spot. They focus on coffee/teas and it’s great. For those specialty coffee lovers it’s a great spot. Sugar free options available too. Had the Calico SF. Not overly sweet. Just right. Great flavors. Brewed coffee was Brazilian today. Variety of tea options. Small and limited comfy seats, but who cares.

Super cute, little local coffee shop tucked away in a hip corner—such a gem of a spot. Stopped in while visiting from out of town— the atmosphere , staff, and coffee were amazing! Check it out!

Got a lavender boba tea with oat milk and a large buttered rum muffin. The food is delicious! 😋

Wow! I had no idea this coffee shop was here. This place is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. They serve a full coffee menu and good assortment of pastries and muffins. It’s relatively quiet here; great for contemplation or conversation. Directly on RT17 in a small plaza on the south/westbound side. (Use GPS so you don’t miss it!)

Delicious coffee, fun specialty lattes, and a really cozy, eclectic atmosphere. The baristas were also super friendly and helpful.

Highly recommend this place to anyone who is on vacation and misses their hometown coffee shop vibe ☺️
