O'Hara's Bakery Cafe is in a cool building on historic main street in Lexington. The dirty chai was good. The raspberry almond cupcake was about grocery store quality. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't serving food on the day I visited.

We've been to O'Hara's Bakery Cafe many times over the years and they have some great deserts, coffees, hot chocolate and mixed drinks too (adult drinks). Something for everyone. The last 2 times we've gone it's been chilly outside so I got the peach cobbler and the mixed berry cobbler with ice cream and it was excellent. I highly recommend and I'm really not a cobbler person so just goes to show how good it is. They also had live music when we were there recently. Someone playing the piano and think they had someone playing guitar there too. Service was excellent and atmosphere was good.

Great overall. Great desserts, lots of variety. Cocktails could use improvement. Sometimes not made quite right. But great variety. Service is usually pretty good. Occasionally we have to keep asking for things we've ordered that they've forgotten. But they're friendly and accommodate us. Owner is great. Fun place to visit after dinner. They do well for such a crowded place.

We were there 3 weeks ago to have breakfast. Unfortunately, they weren't serving food that day, so we had coffee and a couple of pastries. My coffee and my girlfriends latte were excellent as were the pastries we had. The service was great, and we thought it was priced reasonable. Will definitely be going back.

Great place! My daughter really enjoyed the sweets and coffee and I enjoyed the bloody mary splashed with guiness. The employees were really nice and looked happy. I want to give a shout-out to Erin, the hostess. She was so nice to my daughter: she took the time to talk with her and engage her. As a mom of a preteen, I really appreciate Erin being a role model for my daughter! It has been a few weeks since we visited and my daughter still talks about Erin. We will definitely be back for the great food, service, and to see Erin!

Neat little coffee shop and bakery, but my experience here has not always been great. The last time I came here was very recent and I and a friend waited over 70 minutes to get our food. Our waitress was attentive with coffee, but the restaurant was either understaffed or managed poorly when I visited, as there was only one chef, and he was backed up. I ordered the French toast with grits and my friend ordered the corned beef breakfast bowl, and when we finally did get our food, my friend's food had a lot of unmelted cheese and the sweet potatoes were not good. My french toast was also disappointing, with the bread not being soaked through for a good french toast. there was plain dry bread in the middle of the French toast coating (which should soak through) and my grits were bland. I can't blame a busy chef, though. However, I can blame my waitress for promising a discount while I already had a coupon for BOGO entrees. Only the coupon was applied, and with our long wait I could not ask about this as my friend needed to be at work and we needed to leave.

However, we did have good coffee and there's a neat little setup and aesthetic to the building (it's actually almost a 100% copy of the setup at Kaminsky's in Columbia, SC with the bar and brick walls as well as a cake and other desserts (such as breakfast desserts) display. In other words, it's a "heavily inspired" restaurant design. They merged with Nonnah's (from downtown Columbia) to serve cakes at $8.95 per large slice, with other slices at different cost (cheesecakes), and breakfast items around $3 to $3.5. Parking is behind the building, so turn behind Main St. by turning left by Alodia's or by turning onto Maiden Lane from South Lake Drive, and the spots are right behind Haven.

I have had the Chai coffee, which was very good, and was a decent price at $4 for a large. The have espresso, cafe americano and cappuccinos/lattes, and a large number of dining options, including breakfast bowls, omelettes, french toast. In general, friendly staff, as well.

This cinnamon bun cappuccino and cinnamon roll cheesecake was so damn good I would compare it to the feeling you get when you’re laying in fresh bed sheets with a warm blanket and a cold pillow with the fan going. Hell even the water we got taste like what I imagine that glacier water from The Waterboy that Vicki Vallencourt gave Bobby Boucher so the mud dogs could win the Bourbon bowl. So what I’m trying to say is, this place is good

Located on main street on Main St, parking down town has never been a issue for me thankfully. I really like how the inside is in its original form, its really has a warm comfy feeling. Plenty of seating and space to social distance if desired. Customer service was great as well as all the deserts. Everything is always fresh and tasty, I haven't tried the coffee or any of the adult drinks yet! Great place to hang out and have some down time.

HIGH QUALITY food made with FRESH ingredients. This is the best brunch in Lexington and it's not even close. I've been to all of them, the latest and greatest and the local favorites. This place tops them all. I got the 2 eggs breakfast. The eggs were fantastic. The sausage was fresh and the sage burst on the pallette. The grits are the best in town. Close your eyes and you're on your grandparents homestead. Don't forget their worldclass desserts either!

Had the corned beef hash bowl with a vanilla latte. Both were really great.
