Second State Coffee

I didn't give a 1 star because I feel that this issue can be fixed.
I've been meaning to stop by so when my mother flew down for a visit I brought her here. There wasn't a line and it seemed everyone was enjoying their coffee. We were rushed to order and when we asked about the waffles on the menu the young lady took it away and said, "We are not serving food now." Completely understandable. My mother said it was her first time and asked what was in the waffles and the young lady said quickly "a whole lot of goodness -anything else?" The young lady then grabbed her purse and got ready to leave. My mother, not realizing what she was ordering, ended up with a black coffee from the pot.

Customer Service is so important with small businesses. I shouldn't feel more welcomed at a Starbucks. C'est la vie.

Amazing neighborhood coffee shop. Delicious food, great drinks, wonderful atmosphere and people. Everything really is done from scratch here - bringing in fresh beans every Tuesday afternoon, homemade waffles, freshly grinding all beans before brewing. Favorite study/work spot in West Ashley.

Great food, great vibes and most importantly great coffee

Amazing coffee, food, and service! I’ve been back many times since they opened and have loved the varieties of coffees they offer. Their waffles and toast are on a next level as well! Also, homemade stroopwaffles anyone!! The baristas here will make you feel right at home with their level of attentiveness and friendly conversation.

Great coffee and atmosphere! I'll be back again and I'm going to try a waffle, but some of the food is overpriced ($7 for a piece of avocado toast?) The coffee was awesome though. Hooray local small business!

Had coffee and a quick breakfast here when passing by the area. Great coffee and the food was ready fast even though there were a lot of other customers at the time.

Best coffee in Charleston! BroomWagon excels in quality, atmosphere, and all the nuances of incredible coffee. Staff are incredibly talented, friendly, and have great taste in music. The batch brew is always amazing, and you can never go wrong with the nitro cold brew or a pour over. The food menu is more robust than most coffeeshops- the toppings for the toast and waffle dishes are creative and always beautifully prepared. Thank you BroomWagon for being the very best!

Absolutely Lovely Coffee Shop offering premium Coffee and espresso drinks. The interior is Immacualate, and well designed. Great place to meet for business meetings!!

The staff is top notch with their professional Barista skills and are super personable and friendly.
