What can I say, this place has an incredible mocha (see photo) and my favorite hot chocolate in the city. The super cool atmosphere has made this one of my favorite spots for meeting friends for coffee in downtown Charleston.

Note to fellow digital nomad types. THERE IS NO WIFI. Normally not an issue but I didn’t see any signs or indications on their listing here that they don’t provide it. So walked for an hour to get here only to find out.

Other than that major disappointment the courtyard is very pleasant, service is solid, and the coffee is good. There is a restroom for customers it looks like, so that essential is covered. Lunch, beer, and breakfast options are limited but seem of high quality.

$4 mimosas on Sunday. Delicious bacon and cheddar biscuit. Super friendly staff.

Found this place while working remote in Charleston. Staffed by literally the nicest people you could hope to meet. Treated everyone who walked through the door on a 95 degree day with stellar service and kindness. Oh and the coffee and beers were amazing as well!

Kudu Coffee is right off of King St and a great stop for quick coffee. This coffee shop has more of a local feel than some of the more touristy spots close by. There is both inside seating and an outdoor patio with seating. I was pleased with the cold brew coffee that I ordered.

What an interesting concept! We were looking for a place to get a late afternoon coffee and found Kudu on Google. We were impressed with the coffee and beers on tap as well as the bakery items still available at 4 pm. My iced mocha was delicious and the perfect thing for an 80 degree day.

Steps off and a world away from the main King Street drag. Best, full-bodied Cortado and a quiet, welcoming courtyard.

Best coffee shop in town, and only one I know of with 20 beers on tap!

Iced Mocha and Ham Swiss Crossiant were pretty good. Cute coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was friendly. Loved the vibe.

Cute coffee shop. Looks like excellent croissants (they had just sold out when I arrived.) Patio is nice to sit in, peaceful with the fountain. Not environmentally friendly - plastic, single use cups and straws. Use compostable!!

Sells roasted whole beans for purchase.
