Good coffee, good food and great ambiance makes this a perfect breakfast cafe. Prices are fair and service was fast.
The coffee is on the bitter side but you can always add sugar, the croissant was massive and delicious.

Running from engagement pictures to dinner and need a pick-me-up? Just a simple hipster looking to find next your next local shop. Kudu is 10/10 meeting all requirements for a great experience! Did I mention they're dog friendly? Do you like dogs? Would you like to see a dog while enjoying your incredible iced mocha? Who wouldn't! Come in to Kudu and be ready for a trip down tastebud lane!

La Marzocco with 3 group heads and 2 grinders! These guys can make a lot of coffee. Cortado was excellent! Nice croissant, made fresh each day! Companion said the cortado glass has a nice heft to it. Quiet and tranquil patio. Really enjoyed the water feature.

Went to this awesome coffee shop three times during our most recent Charleston visit! Open late hours for a coffee shop (7 pm) and has the cutest courtyard outside with a fountain and plenty of seating. Their latte is absolutely perfect-- dirty Chai is phenomenal! Friendly and efficient staff and very clean place. More than fair prices for being right in the historic district too. Couldn't ask for more! We will be back. ☕

Best mimosa I’ve ever had, and at a great price! Happy Hour here is also A+. The ambiance and staff are excellent. I recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a pick-me-up and some chill cafe music or a quiet place to work/study.

I can’t say enough good things about the food and the coffee here. Out of all the coffee shops I have tried in the last couple of years, this has been my favorite.
The cappuccino was perfect, and the ham and Swiss croissant was like nothing I have had from a U.S. coffee shop before. If I lived here, I would be here almost daily.

A gem in downtown. We stopped for mimosas and coffee. A friend of mine brought me here since this is her favorite spot.
I loooove the patio! The staff was so friendly and nice. Quick service, great drinks!

Just the sound from the Barista of “Almond Lavender Latte!” Is enough to appreciate the beautiful ZEN of Kudu. Add in exceptionally friendly service with cool coffeehouse vibe. Top notch (+++ the outdoor patio).

Always love a visit to Kudu. We got quiche, sandwiches and a cookie today, plus one of the smoothest cappuccinos I’ve had in a while. The cool air inside didn’t hurt as well! Staff is always smiling and helpful.

Came in on a Saturday at 10 am and there were probably 4-5 people ahead of us. Not long after, the line was pretty much out the door. I had the nitro cold brew, which was pretty good - though not as creamy tasting as Starbuck's. I can't speak for the food, but the coffee was the perfect way to start our first day in Charleston! Too bad we didn’t have time to come back and try the craft beer.
