Honestly the vibes were immaculate along with the music. The service was also on point, except for one one song but other than that I loved it.

Popped in for brunch recently. There’s a reason this adorable bistro is always busy.

I’m now spoiled for any other quiche (even my own). It’s delicious. Add to that the house made ginger lemon soda, and I’m a goner.

Such a great spot. Go now.

Very cute exterior, good coffee. I tried the peanut mocha (made with baba's peanut milk) and it was excellent! the food looked great, but I wasn't planning on eating there. It's not very expensive for such a crowded tourist spot. definitely recommend for a quick bite or to sit on the patio and sip wine!

Do not waste your time by going here!!!Coffee was terrible, lady with the mask who worked there was rude and very unprofessional!! No southern charm here AT ALL!!! Will not be coming back.

I ate at this place, I’m not ashamed to admit it, every day I was In Charleston for a long weekend, and I just loved it. Great spot in a cool neighborhood, friendly staff, pleasant vibes, great outdoor seating and they take COVID safety seriously, a rarity, I’m finding, in the south.

Whether coming here for lunch and a beer or breakfast and a latte, it all good. I loved the turkey club and the quiche, which was out of this world and comes with a great side salad.

So anyway, I recommend, I loved this place and if I ever find myself in Charleston again I look forward to returning here.

My husband and I stumbled upon Babas on our last morning in Charleston. It was right around the corner from where we were staying and honestly, I wish we had found it earlier in our stay! We dropped in for a quick coffee/tea prior to heading to the airport but the moment I saw the baked goods on display, I new I had to try one! I highly recommend the banana bread, it’s buttery and a delightful mix of sweet with a salty exterior. Yum! Also, the chai tea latte was exquisite - not a fake syrupy flavor but freshly steeped!

Called in on a wet and rainy Thursday afternoon in March, at around two in the afternoon. By this time they had sold nearly all of the pastries and cakes, but there was some banana bread left which we had with a cortado and latte. Very good coffee and delicious banana bread (served with a sprinkling of sea salt - superb). Staff were helpful, chatty and polite. Highly recommended - but try to go earlier before they run out of the good stuff. 😁

While staying in the neighborhood this became our go-to stop. The whipped honey espresso gave us the perfect recharge to continue our tours of Charleston on foot. We tried light bites of a Turkey sandwich, soft boiled eggs, bacon lardons and the pistachio and shaved Parmesan salad. Friendly and talented staff!
