What an incredible spot. We came here FOUR times on our weekend trip because we loved it so much. It’s great for a light breakfast, or fun cocktails and shareable dinner plates. The service is exceptional, the vibes are immaculate and the food is as close to perfect as it gets. Lots of little special details. Highly recommend the potato soup, the whipped espresso and the banana bread. All of the pastries are exceptional.

This is a delightful cafe that would not be out of place in a cozy neighborhood in Paris. Our group of four stopped in for breakfast around 9:30am on a Wednesday and easily got seated. You first order at the counter and then pick a spot in or outdoors (beautiful covered area). The coffee was great as were our lattes (regular milk and oat milk). Our food was equally delicious- ham & butter sandwich (crispy perfection), the quiche (our favorite with the most perfectly balanced salad) and an avocado toast to die for.

Recommend: Quick family breakfast, perfect coffee shop atmosphere with a great menu selection

Pro tip: try the toasted banana bread with a slight sprinkle of salt. It is perfection.

This place is insanely awesome. I wish there could be one in every city. We went there four times in two days. The breakfast is fantastic, and they are open late for snacks and drinks too. The banana bread is the best I’ve had and the potato soup was so good. The cold martinis were delicious with the chips and dips as a side. The staff is also some of the most friendly we encountered. Overall amazing spot!!

We went to babas four times in our 36 hour trip to Charleston-once for afternoon coffee, once for aperitifs, twice for breakfast. It is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in all respects-the food is incredible (best banana break I’ve ever had; the honey whipped espresso was so delicious; the potato soup was unreal), the staff is so friendly, it is a beautiful spot that feels so lovely and special and also comfortable. Truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had.

ideal place for breakfast! you order and pay at counter, then enjoy your wonderful meal. Try peaches with ham - delicious, avocado 🥑 toast is pretty good too!

Fabulous casual spot. Great for a healthy lunch or an uplifting drink.

Highly recommend the pickled shrimp salad, the avocado toast, and the chai latte.

I LOVE BABAS!! their lattes are the best in Charleston and the environment is so cute. Perfect to go for a quick caffeine boost and avocado toast with a sold boiled egg 🤩 They do it right here.

Service is easy and quick and it’s easy to sit and enjoy for a while. Their space is small so it could be difficult to find a place it sit during peak hours but tables tend to open up.

Such a treat to go to for my morning coffee when I’m in Charleston.

I had a fabulous Bellini and cortado here while walking the streets of Charleston. I was recommended this place by a few friends, and I’ll surely have to recommend it too! Great vibes and an interesting menu make this place stand out.

The ambiance was nice. Great place for a hangover fix which I needed. Food was ok. Nothing to rave about. Clean and staff was polite and helpful. I would come back and try other items. Worth a visit

Coffee + food were sooo tasty but the avocado toast is very very small and it was priced a lil higher than the avg. avocado toast, so you might want to order it as a side and go ahead an order something else as well. Cozy cafe vibes and staff was super friendly.
