Decent milkshakes, scoop of ice cream on a waffle cone-not so great. No wrapper on the cone itself and the scoop is extremely tiny. Nothing noteworthy about the taste. Pretty pricy for what you actually get.

Customer service is slow. On my last visit there was an accumulating line at the window and the server was busy making small talk with his friends, we had to wait several minutes and were about to give up. It’s quite rude when there is a line of customers to chat up your local friends and snub other customers waiting in line. When it was finally my turn the guy was confused as to who was next in line! Still no indoor service which would be useful to actually come in and see the ice cream and read a detailed menu, the measly menu posted on the window is so vague. If you don’t want customers hanging around then just post something about it, let people come in and see the ice cream choices.

Update: The owners reply to this review claiming this to be a “fake account”, a “classic hit job” and “call it like I see it” is inappropriate and frankly rude, which verifies my experience a week ago at this establishment. Why would anyone reading your response want to go to your establishment now. A part of being a business owner is the ability to process criticism to establish improved service. I am not your first critical review. I am a real customer that has brought multiple people with me on three separate occasions to your store. In regards to COVID, local officials are expiring mask mandates and lifting restrictions. As a private business owner it is your right to have whatever restrictions you choose. I simply was stating when people go to an ice cream parlor we as customers like to see the ice cream to make choices. Keep serving at the window but improve your one posted menu and have several posted and spaced out so people don’t rush up to the window which defeats your purpose of COVID safety. I support and love local businesses that is why I chose to go to your establishment in the first place. Based on your hostile response I will take my ice cream cravings elsewhere.

My boyfriend and I went a few weeks ago, and we were ecstatic about the variety of options! Cannot wait to go back soon and try the Chocolate Peanut Butter Oreo! Plus, I absolutely adored the outside set-up for my pup! Highly Recommend!

This business has AMAZING ice cream, Milkshakes! And I mean with Variety; from single scoops to waffle cones. I got a milkshake and it was SO creamy and smooth! They also serve tastyyyyy WINE ICE CREAM for the adults or if you’re craving coffee, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Lavender Latte, we just tried it and it’s absolutely delicious! The shop is very cute, and comfy with fun music. It’s the best ice cream & coffee shop in Bluffton.

Yesterday, my TEAM at lunch took a walk to Joe's to try out the new ice cream shop! 🙌 customer service. Very relaxing , down home ice cream shop. I was relaxing in the big chairs and enjoying the view! Not a chain. Has ice cream wine for adults, coffee bev, ice cream, milkshakes! Joe was so amazing and friendly! I am a native and to see all the changes... It was refreshing to just soak in the beautiful scenery and big oak tree at Jo's.
We had to get back to work... But to have that "down home" conversating, laughs like we did..Now, .new community friend made in 20 min..leaving like we have been friendly community neighbors for years. That is what our town is and will always be about. Why people from all over move here... We can't let that ever fade"southern charm" not just walking up to chains and ordering.

Tried the maple bacon bourbon ice cream, and it was amazing! Can’t wait to go back and try some of the other flavors.

Great place!!! Amazing coffee. The ice cream has the most unique flavors. Beautiful environment, friendly staff, and the view, definitely a breathtaking location to relax. If you’re in the area this is a definite place to stop.

I would have never imagined that wine ice cream could be so amazing! I had a hard time picking between the Peach White Zinfandel and the Chocolate Cabernet. My husband looooved the Cherry Merlot. Joe’s also has other amazing and creative (alcohol free) flavors to choose from. The sugar cookie flavor looked delicious.

Joe’s is my favorite regular stop in Old Town Bluffton. My husband is a huge ice cream fan while I love iced lattes . Best of both worlds at Joe’s. His ice cream selection is wonderful, with even a wine infused ice cream selection. The chocolate Cabernet is my absolute favorite. It is a must try. My husband loves the pistachio. Joe’s coffee and espresso are the best I’ve ever had. Organic and clean, his coffee is unlike any other. One iced oat milk latte and you will be hooked. Joe himself fell in love with Bluffton and moved here to open his shop and we are so glad he did. He works so hard and makes us feel at home. If you want to support a local business with the best ice cream and coffee, look no further than Joe’s! Lastly the back yard with Astro turf and picnic tables is the perfect spot to spend your Spring and Summer days and nights. Cannot recommend enough!

Our family stopped by for the first time and had a great experience. We enjoyed the ice cream and all of the space at the back of the property. It was perfect for our toddler to run around.

My partner and I take regular trips from Savannah to Bluffton just to get a cup o joe from Joe's. After sampling coffee throughout town in both Savannah and Bluffton, Joe's is far and away the best. We love the quaint dog-friendly back yard, friendly staff, and the variety of alternative milk options. My go-to is the vanilla or fudge latte, and hers is pistachio iced. Both are amazing; highly recommend!
